What is the difference between meeting and group on Clover 2.7? What meeting has and group does not or the opposite?
Hi! Clover 2.7.0 has both messaging and meeting capabilities, while 4.0.0 has only messaging capabilities. This is because the new meeting system introduced in 4.0.0 did not work as expected. We are in the process of reworking it in v5.

Please what is the change log for the recent update you just published few days ago.
It’s a typo fix on the version number. It was still showing 2.6.2 on the login page, while the current version is 2.7.0. Now it properly displays 2.7.0.

Their meeting UI will be merged into Clover with the March update.
This is more of what I am looking for, Will the V5 have the ability to add moderators, kick/ban etc. ?
Clover V5 will be a merge of Argan (our meetings platform) with our newest messaging platform (scheduled for release in February). It will have group admins, with the ability to kick people off groups.
Please consider the following before buying:
1. The current stable release is v2.7.0.
2. v4.0.0 is production-ready but messaging only (no meetings).
3. v5 is scheduled for release in March, might be April at worst. If you buy now and then you ask for a refund because “v5 is not as expected” or “v5 is taking too long”, you will not get the refund.
In other words, buy now only if you like 2.7.0 or 4.0.0. If you like the v5 concept, hit “follow” here on CodeCanyon and on LinkedIn, then come back here when we actually release it.

Will it still look and function like V2 and V4 or will it look and operate completely different? Will it look more like Argan?
It will operate in the same way, but with more features. The look will be based on Material UI (like v4) but we are reworking the UX (some buttons and search boxes will be in different, supposedly better, places).

I have been asking this for a long time but i don’t get response, how can i hide users from other users when they are searching for a person, instead only the correct string of username written will come show or some username similar to what they search instead of all the users of the platform to be showing, its feels like there is no privacy

In Clover v2.7.0, edit /backend/src/routes/search.js as follows:
- Replace line 25 with { username }
- Delete lines 23, 24, 26, 27
- Restart the backend by running “pm2 restart Clover”

- Replace line 13 with { username }
- Delete lines 12, 14
- Restart the backend by running “pm2 restart Clover”
Regarding the “long time but i don’t get response”, we get a lot of requests and I can’t be 100% sure, but this is the first time I read this question. If we truly missed your previous support request, then sorry! We’ll try to do better. Anyway, let me know if it’s ok now

After update i checked the app before buy..
1- On chat can’t Replay
2- On chat can’t Forward
3- While doing video call you can’t send chat with others while seeing them. (zoom)
4- While doing video call show others Offline
5- When add the attachment can not see before send.
6- When send the attachment you can’t deleted both side. (sender or receiver)
7… 8.. goes more and more.
don’t get me wrong, but I think you should consider take a look into some off popular apps exp. whatsapp // what they’re doing on their apps cause for 99 usd you should at least add some of functionality replay,delete,forward,sharing info..

The missing features that you listed are going to be added with v5 in March. We already “took a look” at other existing apps and we are doing better, though doing better takes time, therefore the update is not out yet.
I am not suggesting you to buy right now and wait for an update. I am suggesting you to come back here in March.

Hi! Your only limitation is outgoing bandwidth. You’ll need at least 300Kbps per listening peer. Assuming 1Gbps, you can have up to 3k peers, which is around 10 webinars.
How is Zoom able to do so many parallel webinars at the same time with so many attendees, are they using similar technology and just utilizing load balancers/multiple cloud servers that appear with resources are low?
Though I don’t have direct insights from specific companies, I can imagine that all services that are running server-side transformation of the video stream (such as changing the background) are running meetings on load balancers.
There is no popular video meetings software (that I know of) that actually runs on p2p. However, even if it existed, it would require a load balanced array of TURN servers for peers behind NAT. Statistically, this amounts to at least 50% of peers in Europe, not sure about US.
Clover uses mediasoup, which can theoretically scale meetings to infinity by using a tree of routers across multiple servers. You could host a trillion users in a single webinar or a trillion webinars, in theory. However, the configuration is too complex to be sold on CodeCanyon and most customers do not even want it.

Hi! Yes, it supports arm64 but the automated installer will only work on Ubuntu 18 or Ubuntu 20. If you need a different OS, you can either install manually or contact us for a paid installation.

Yes but without meetings. Meetings require a public ip address.

Hi! We added push notifications in v1, but most customers were having trouble with the setup. Since we can’t handle long 1v1 support meetings with every customer, we removed the feature.
