Is it difficult to reskin this app? Do I need to have backend server?

You need a backend, of course. However, in this case, this is done by Parse.com, so you don’t need to write a single line of code for your backend and you don’t need your own server.

Hi, I want to buy this Item, but I have a question, Is it possible to get this app on device to test it and to try by hands? Or at least to watch a video of this app with all the features? It would be awesome, thank you in advance.

Hi, Sorry for the late reply. You can download LuxChat on the Appstore. It’s my app, it has some more features than this project here, but I think it’ll show you what it’s all about.

Hi,

Because Parse shutdown, do you plan on using any other database provider?

Thanks, Faraaz

Hi, Yes, of course! I change all of my projects to back4app, which installs Parse API for you an their servers. So everything you need to do is to change a single line of code to point to back4app and not parse.com :-) It’s really easy, you can keep all of the backend code. Cheers Eric

i have the same question about parse. what other service are you going to use for this app? i am interested in buying. thanks.

Hello, there is problem because parse closed, so how could we manage that problem? it is possible to use our own server, it is too much difficult? or it is flexible?

Hi, Yes, of course, you can use your own servers! It’s not that difficult and parse’s github page has great tutorials on how to set them up. How does the installation of this application on my server? Working perfectly.

Hi, Concerning setting up your own Parse server, please have a look at Parse’s github page. You’ll find great tutorials on how to set everything up there :-) Cheers Eric

Hello, Is there any possibility to make one to one chat with that app without more contacts like one admin and the rest of users. Thanks

Hi,

Yes, that’s perfectly possible and not much work is needed to achieve this.

Cheers Eric

Hi, this is just a template or we get docs to make a working app ?

Hi, Can I get an answer here? or is this project was abandoned ?

Hi, Sorry for the delay. This is not just a template, it includes the entire backend as well – hence it is a working app.

Cheers Eric

Hey, I have a few questions, is there a way the code can be storyboarded, as I can’t seem to add features, such as terms and conditions buttons. I’ve taken a look at your app and I’m trying to do a similar register design but can’t seem to do it, can you help. Finally the tab icons at the bottom don’t show up on any device. Thanks Piers

Hi, AFAIK there is no easy way to create a storyboard from code, you’d have to do it on your own. But you can simply add the buttons via code, that’s fairly simple… Cheers Eric

does this app works the same with whatsapp ? is this the same concept with whatsapp ? app if both for android and apple ???

It is the same concept, yes. Only iOS though.
