How big a file can you import?
(filesize, number of records…)
There is no limit on the file size or number of records from the script. However you have to check the file size limit from the server side. This is generally found in the php.ini (upload_max_filesize).
I have just bought this item and tried to make it work but it doesn’t seem to like what I do.
Your database.php seems to missing conditions such as “Invertedcommas” and Option 1 and Option 2
Can you please explain how to make it work.
If you email me on firstname.lastname@example.org then I will send you the script link and database details to test.
Hope to hear back from you soon.
Hi, Yes of course. Send me the details on info[AT]neuroncodes.com so I can check what the problem is.
What is the backup method used? exec? mysqldump, or what ? I need to know this to check if my server allows me to run this kind of script.
This plugin does not backup data. It is only for importing data.
hello I want to buy your script
but first I want to understand a few things.
I have a csv file from different database tables
your script is adapting to my database?
What do you mean with different database table?
Hello, is there any tutorial for how can I upload , for example
I have website interface without database , how can I do in this case ?
You require a database in order to import the data
Are you not upgrading or supporting your script any longer?
No updates or comments after 7 months.
I am supporting the script, I will be more than happy to answer any questions and fix any bugs in the script.
Hi, can you provide a demo link? It’s hard to buy something that we can’t even try…
Hi, any replies please?
Hi, I have added a demo link on the item. Hope you like it
Hello! this looks great, I have a pre-sales question. I need to give a front end to my wordpress registered users so they can upload a xls or cvs file into a table in my mysql db. Will I be able to give that capability to my users with this system? thanks!
Yes it can be modified to do so.
Nothing happens. I enter localhost, username, password, table name then select the csv file and field names in first row and click submit
The name of the fields in the CSV file appear on top of the screen with array (0) and that’s it.
Nothing gets imported
Hi, Make sure that you are selecting the correct file format, delimiter and text qualifier.
So let me understand the process, I first create a table in the DB. This table asks me to enter at least a field.
What should I enter? Do I need to add the name of the columns in the CSV field and use them as the fields for this table? If so, what types of values do I need to use? How do I know that certain column format needs to be varchar or int and the right size?
If there’s no need to create these fields, as mentioned, mySQL will require at least one field to be created. What name, field type, etc should I use?
Also, how do I determine what the right file format, delimiter and text qualifiers are?
Are you supporting this script?
I have tried to use your Demo (Live Preview) but its disabled. Please send me any Demo Link with User ID and Password for testing purpose. I want to buy today itself.
Hi, We have fixed the live preview link. Apologies for any inconvenience
