This is my second comment. (adding to first). I am not able to save any staff members, create new services or anything that deals with creating and saving. I still had trouble after deleting and re-uploading both the main plugin and the add on.

Hello the plugin along with the extras that I have purchased continues to crash my website. At time is crashes with the date picker, and when customers complete custom fields and sent to the cart page it crashes and gives a 503 error.

I have attempted to contact you all via email per your instruction for extras support. I haven’t heard back please assist as my customers are frustrated and I have to enter information into bank portal manually.

You should check if you also associated your staff members with services, disabled caching plugins and set all parameters correctly. Hi there, is there a way to set a minimum purchase amount? My service has a small base fee, but then I’m using the Extras plugin. I’d like to set a minimum cost for all extras selected. Thanks!

Currently this not supported, there’s an option only for the max number of extras. You could include the fee in extras’s price for this case.

I have bought this plugin but when i add extras to a service, it initially saves but when i go back into the service is is not there? I have tried many times but the extra does not save when you save it!

Just purchased the Service Extras Add-On for my client who allows multiple persons per booking. However, on the Extras step the Summary line doesn’t reflect the number of people like it does in the Cart view.

So if the customer chooses 2 people it only displays the base price for 1 person (e.g. ‘Summary: $10.00 + insert extras price’ instead of ‘Summary: 2 x $10.00 + insert extras price’).

I’ve had to turn off the Summary option in Settings for the time being but would very much like this to be fixed as it’s very informative to the user. Especially as the Cart doesn’t show the breakdown of services + extras, only the total price.

I was wondering if there is a way that as services are offered it will adjust the price? I.E. My business offers 4 products and for every product that is added a $50 discount is applied to the total. For example there are two products $100 each if the client wishes to have both products the total is $150. Is there a way to reflect that with Bookly?

I appreciate your interest in our products.

It is possible to create services for each product quantity separately and create different extras for those that would have price with negative value so it would turn it into a discount. So this way for each service selected your customers would be able to add the discount (its possible to limit maximum number of extras so you want to set “1” here). Also simpler solution would be to set different prices for your 4 services, if you those would be basically the same product but in different quantity. Other than that, I would say that quantity discounts are not supported. Feel free to reply directly at support@ladela.com so we could promptly assist you with other questions in the future.

Hey! I have the core Booking plugin. I’m interested in this add-on if it can reduce the price. For example, I might want a user to select an extra option, which could reduce the service from $15 to $0 once they select the addon. Is that possible?

Yes, you could set it up by adding an extra with a negative price. You can try to set it up on the demo to see if it will fit your needs.

No longer getting emails when someone books. My email is correct and when i test it comes through however when a customer order a services I do not get a notification however I do see it on my gsuite calendar. Previously before the addon of extras i did get the emails with the service booking etc.

There could a lot of reasons why email notifications don’t work. Though let’s start with the settings, you’ll need to check the default status of the created appointments (settings tab) and look also if the combined notifications are enabled (settings -> customers). After that you need to access the email notifications tab and check if the relevant email notifications are enabled.

For example if the default status is “Approved” and combined notifications are disabled then: you need to enable the single notifications for the approved status.

Wondering if there is a way to add multiple staff to one appointment? We have 4 staff and some of the appointments require different combinations of those people.

Also running into an issue where it’s not 2-way syncing my calendar. I have it all setup and it’s adding appointments just fine but not blocking out the times that I already have appointments manually booked, such as weekly recurring.

We are having an issue with the CSS of the extras. Bookly is being called with a class “ab-extra-step” but on your demo and in the CSS it shows “bookly-extra-step”

Actually the next button doesn’t even work either on the extras page. We just updated to the newest version of bookly

How can i set extra duration half and hour? only appear by hours

Thanks for your support Ladela :) for example, when i upload images for the extra. Appears no visible for the visitors and the symbols + and – too, only for me. Another problem i have is that the extra selected doesnt appear in the emails of the woocommerce, how can i set them to appear? Because i dont know what the client added

1) Please check if you enabled the images in Settings -> Cart.

2) You need to add this code {extras} in Settings -> WooCommerce -> Cart item data.

ive discovered that the problem is the swift security plugin. When i deactivate it, the images appear again. Maybe its because that plugin change the source of the images to /media/, its possible to change that config by ftp? if its possible, what file do i need to modify?

Currently the step can’t be hidden, it will display a message for the service/s that they don’t have any extra services.

Hi Ladela! This plugin is great and I’ve used it with the main Bookly service as a major part of www.in-our-nature.com.

Recently my web designer and I have just transferred over the WP site from hostgator to dreamhost and have added an SSL certificate with Let's Encrypt. I'm also using the Really Simple SSL plugin to transfer all links in https.

The WP transfer through updraft went perfectly – with the exception of the SSL and that plugin, wordpress is now the exact same files and MySQL database.

For some reason though, the plugin is broken now. Everything seems to work until the very last selection, when it is time to select “pay locally”. It then just hangs and there is a spinning graphic. It never progresses.

Things I’ve tried:

  • updating, disabling, re-enabling the pair of plugins
  • removing the HTTPS and trying with HTTP
  • updating the information pages (www.in-our-nature.com/success) from http to https and back again
  • turning off all security plugins
  • removing then re-entering the purchase codes.

It appears to be a javascript sort of error but we can’t think of where the trouble would lie!
