Hi Ladela, I think there is something wrong in this plugin. I have 2 locations and 2 staff. So 1 assigned to the first location and the other to the second locatoin. Both can handle the same services at the same time. Capacity of service is 16 and of staff 8 each. When someone orders the maximum of 8 slots at one location it is not possible to book at the same time at the other location anymore. The time is blocked. - FOUND IT, giving the staff and location the same name makes an error in your code…

There is also no column with location visible in appointments, so you never know what people booked for… it is also not showing up if you edit a booking. It does show in Calender.

And there is no possibility to send a email with a different address when people booked on a different location.

I also found out that it’s not sending the location and amount of people for the reservation to google calender… so you never know where the people have an appointment and with how many… how can I change this? And there is no column with “signed up” people in appointments… these two are really a must… you cant work without them. hope you can help out

Hi there,

Thank you for purchasing our product.

Staff member’s Capacity overrides the global parameter of the selected service. Try to assign different services for staff with Capacity of 8 in each. It is possible to show customers names in Google Calendar events by adding {client_names} code to the “Template for event title” parameter at the Settings/Google Calendar page. You might want to vote for this feature request. So check if you associated your staff members with correct services, disabled caching plugins and set all parameters correctly before testing. If you are sure that everything is set properly but it still doesn’t work – please, reply at support@ladela.com with your purchase code, screenshots and additional details of the case so we could investigate and help you further.

Best regards,
Andrew

Does “Bookly Locations (Add-on)” work on Multisite WordPress installation and “Bookly Multisite (Add-on)”? Will these addons work also with “Bookly Chain Appointments (Add-on)”? Are they compatible when installed altogether? Best regards, Thomas

Hi,

Yes, they will work. Though take into account in a multisite enviroment, on each site Bookly will work as a separate installation with it’s staff and services.

The multisite add-on doesn’t make the plugin global over all websites in the network, it makes it to be compatible with a WP multisite enviroment. So the plugin with all it’s add-ons will work independently on each website.

Thanks!
Alex

Hi, I’ve been playing around with the location add-on, but there are few things missing. I can’t find a way to arrange appointments by location in appointments view. How do I know who booked where? It’s missing as a column and as arrange property. How can I show this? Thanks. If this is not possible, can you tell me which php file I can edit for this and where? Why else would you get a location add on if you cant see who booked where?

Hi, thanks for clarifying. You should navigate to Appointments, click Edit, click customer’s name link and see location and custom fields data in the new pop-up window.

Cheers!
Andrew

Hi Andrew, thanks for the explanation. So if let’s say I have 20 customers on a day I have to navigate to Appointments, click Edit, click customer’s name link and see location and custom fields data in the new pop-up window? That is really overkill.. isn’t it? How do I get the location info in a single column like for instance the date of an appointment so I can see in a flash who has an appointment where? If this is not possible, can you please tell me which php to edit with which code? The location data in a single column really is a must if you get this add-on… Hope you can help me out! thanks

Hi,

As at the moment you can see the location by clicking on the customer’s name, you’ll need to make to changes to code to display this info in a different place. You’ll need at least to makes changes here: wp-content/plugins/appointment-booking/backend/modules/calendar/templates/_customer_details_dialog.php ; wp-content/plugins/appointment-booking/backend/modules/calendar/templates/_appointment_dialog.php – in these files you can find the templates and also here: wp-content/plugins/appointment-booking/backend/modules/calendar/templates/_appointment_dialog.php – you can find the logic of the user interface.

Thanks!

Hi i just purchased the Locations Addon to go along with some of your other products. All is working well, however i was just wondering if there is a way to filter the calendar by location ? I’m aware it can be filtered by staff members, but location filtering to view bookings for one location only would be a great benefit.

Hi,

Thank you for purchasing our products and sharing your ideas.

There is no such way of sorting backend Calendar appointments at this time. We value all feedback and have created a new record on our Feature Request forum:
https://support.booking-wp-plugin.com/hc/en-us/community/posts/115000396685-Select-backend-calendar-events-by-locations-besides-staff-members-
The forum is where we track requests for new capabilities, and our product development depends directly on the number of votes each request receives. That’s why we encourage you to vote for your request. Feel free to also reply directly at support@ladela.com so we could promptly assist you with other questions in the future.

Thanks!

Hi,

Is it possible to create different booking ‘forms’ for various pages? So that different pages can get a separate bookly form? Instead of a dropdown for locations we would like to direct visitors using a map.

Thanks

Hi,

Thank you for purchasing Bookly.

Yes, its possible to add a booking form to other pages. You might want to follow these instructions while adding the form to your page:
https://support.booking-wp-plugin.com/hc/en-us/articles/212800185-Publish-Booking-Form
The article explains how you can remove elements of the first step with option to pre-define the fields’ values. Feel free to also reply directly at support@ladela.com so we could promptly assist you with other questions in the future.

Thanks!

Hello,

Pretty disappointed with this add-on which is quite pricey for it’s lack of functionality.

I have noticed that other people have commented too about the fact that there’s no way to filter by Location on Appointments… would have thought this was pretty critical functionality as opposed to a Feature Request!

Infact to add to this, this is useless… even the CSV export doesn’t include the location!

Hello,

Thank you for purchasing our products and providing feedback.

We will inform our development team about this, so hopefully it would be possible to set a higher priority on Locations functionality development. Please, feel free to reply directly at support@ladela.com so we could promptly assist you with other questions in the future.

Thanks!
Andrew

Pre sale question. As already mentioned by t1rnanog few days ago:

Is there no dedicated column in Appointments view? The same in the Calendar view .. no filters for locations? When generating an appointment in the backend .. is there no option to set the location?

Such location feature makes sense in Bookly and maybe I miss something .. but what is the practical usage aspect of this add-on?

Hi,

Currently there’s no location column in the Appointments view or a filter. You can set the location of created appointment in the back end by clicking on the customer’s name. You can use the add-on when you have more branches in a company.

Thanks!

Hi sir, Please, is your plugin for booking have these ability?

1- Automated Email notifications to staff and clients. 2- Set booking availability for a specific time period(hours) and date? 3-Number of unavailable days and hours from Today 4- Configure booking Email 5- Set field as required. 6- Visitor can Cancel own bookings

Regards A.J.

Hi, thanks for interest!

1) Email notifications for staff members and customers are supported.

2) Bookly is designed to work with a weekly schedule, after setting up the schedule it will repeat for the following weeks. If you want to set availability for specific dates you’ll need the special days add-on: https://codecanyon.net/item/bookly-special-days-addon/18611122?s_rank=3

3) Not sure here, are you referring to this option: Minimum time requirement prior to booking? An option to set how late appointments can be booked (for example, require customers to book at least 1 hour before the appointment time).

4) Email templates can be configured in the email notifications tab.

5) Some fields are mandatory by default all the time, others are optional. Please provide more details about the fields you are interested in.

6) Customers can cancel their bookings in the email notifications (if you’ll add a cancellation code in the template) or/and if you they will have WP user accounts and you’ll add the appointment list to a page – then once they are logged in they will have access to their appointment in a list, that contains a cancellation button.

Thanks!
Alex
