Today I decided to switch from Calendly to Bookly for WordPress. First bought Bookly Pro, because of the link with Google Calendar.

Unlike Calendly, Bookly doesn’t take into account the calendars I added in Google Calendar under ‘my calendars’. That’s a shame, because the reservation system has to take into account both my work and my private agenda.

For that reason I also bought the add-on ‘Bookly Advanced Google Calendar’: that description stated that two calendars could be synchronized.

Unfortunately this turned out not to be the case, or am I possibly doing something wrong?

I recently purchased advanced google calendar addon. It first it seemed to work but after a couple of days nothing that is added to the google calendar comes through to the bookly calendar, causing multiple duoble bookings! Pls. advice. Regards, Marleen

Does the addon also sync the name, email, phone number and custom fields (from the addon) ? I need the client details to sync as well. Not just the time slot…

But this just syncs the information to Google Calendar. It doesn’t sync to the 2nd Bookly site…

When I connect 2 Bookly websites on 1 calendar, what happens when an appointment is cancelled (not deleted) ? Will the time slot become available on both sites ? Or do I really need to delete the appointment before it’s available again ?

Thank you for your message.

Yes, the appointment should be deleted if you want to remove it from your Google calendar. The case is that cancellation option just changes the status of the appointment. And Google calendar doesn’t recognize the statuses.

hello,

I had google calendar set up and then I bought the Advanced google plugin for the two-way sync mode. What do I do about this error message? (I’ve removed our website details):
