Hi. Which files should I edit to redirect users to an additional page, aside from the script’s dashboard?

You mean after user signin? if yes then you have to open “user” controller file and edit redirect statement in signin method. send a email at scriptseries.com@gmail.com regarding this and will send you instructions with detailed screenshots. :)

Have a niceday.

We replied to your email, kindly check your email inbox. :)

Is there a major difference with the $29 version 3 compared to the version 2? I want to monitor my real estate agents who enter my password protected intranet and get reports to know who has logged in. Also, I have not really used php scripts before. Will I need to rename all my html pages to php extensions? And will I need to add your script to every page of my site? Thanks. Paul Hartke hartkepaul@gmail.com

Need help on install V3. Created database. Imported database table blueshield.sql. Unzipped and uploaded entire blueshield folder to my website in the public_html directory. My webhost supports .htaccess so did nothing there. For database.php, added host name as www.mydomain.com with user name and password and blueshield as database. I don’t see users/signin in my root or blueshield directory, only in a signin.php in a subfolder. I am not experienced with php so lost at this point.

Hi ScriptSeries, Is it possible to generate stats on what pages in your site your users visited?...I notice on your UserSessions page in the demo it shows user logins with their browser stats, is it possible to add what pages in the site they visit?

Nice plugin, by the way :)

Update: Nevermind, I can use the web server logs to link users to the pages they visit based on their IP addresses in the session table :)

If I want to implement a member area for certain pages of my website, how do I force the user to login (redirect a user to the login page) ? Thank you.

If your website is completely seperated from the Blueshield app, unfortunately it can’t share the session variables on other sites. this is mainly due to security and avoid session variable name collision. But if you are building the site inside of Blueshield app, then it’s pretty easy to do.

There are few helper methods that related to user authentication available in Blueshield. for e.i: is_signed_in(), is_admin() etc… you can use those helper/utility methods to verify user’s login state and role.

Best regards,

ScriptSeries.

We are unable to get the product running WITHOUT htaccess. We don’t have the modrewrite support.

I have setup the config file with the index file here $config[‘index_page’] the script still tries to append goofy items to the url that go directories that do not exist. /index.php/user/ etc etc

Hi vandykmortgage,

This script can run without .htaccess support without any issue. I think the problem is your configurations. but dont worry. we are more than happy to help you. please send your cpanel details so we can install the script for you. our email is scriptseries.com@gmail.com.
