If the pricing of a service class is set to the Ranged price mode, an admin-defined range will appear for the ride fee (e.g., for a normally $5 ride, $4-$7, with adjustable percentages). And at the end of the ride, the driver would be asked to enter the final fee, which could be a regulated metered device fee or trust-based.

With the recent shift towards deeper usages of Redis, we were able to integrate an order tracker that can lead us to re-enable a more reliable actual distance tracker. We are monitoring the results on customers that partnered with us, and once we find the calculations accurate enough and edge cases well covered, we will make it publicly available. Note that the spectrum of how resilient such a feature can be is wide. From a just slap-in, “worked on my device with 5 testers” solution, to a million-dollar codebase, such as Uber. It needs a deeper context to be compared. Our policy is that unless a feature can be 100% reliable in the real world, and it wouldn’t compromise our performance targets, we wouldn’t ship the product with it.

BetterTaxi does have a rejection possibility. Beside the accept button, there is a Reject button. Please ensure your demo apps are updated to the latest version.

Hi, I was looking Ridy product but dont see it. When will it be back?
Ridy was disabled because some customers demanded an image guide on how to orchestrate backend services without relying on running the ready-made script that does all that. We find it challenging to guide potential buyers through something that is essentially a whole engineering position (DevOps Engineering) with the help of some screenshots, while they might lack the experience. Until we find a way around that, unfortunately, Ridy will remain disabled.

I mean you buy high end product, install the default solution and you cannot access the panel and not get an answer on their support this is not the desired outcome when you encounter this since launch. The support policy to answer is 2 days… 2 days for what ? Who pays for the 2 days missed of not launching a test ? I paid for the product for sure my money are right away yours! Im obligated to comment here because after 4 hours ive no answer yet.
A clarification might be in order here that the 2 days are the maximum response time; it is usually less. That is fairly standard in support, especially in international relations.

Hello, your admin panel doesn’t look professional enough and isn’t user-friendly; you’ve made it look bad to make it look aesthetic. The Riddy app’s admin panel is simpler and more understandable, but the Bettersuite admin panel is full of errors.

Additionally, how does the balance system work? I want drivers without a balance to not receive ride requests. Their screens should display an error message such as “You cannot receive ride requests because you have no balance.” If that’s not the case, how do we make money? Thanks, it appears that you have missed the drop-down switcher on top left that should be used to switch to the BetterTaxi panel. Then you can access Taxi-specific features such as the Pricing menu.
If i buy the source code and ihave lot of customers and drivers and the project is successful and i connect a new payment gateway for the drivers to pay through it! Is this allowed in the Regular license ? Or will there be restrictions? And when I buy the source code, will you have control over it later? Or access to it? and it It is possible Powered by BetterSuite can be removed ? I don’t want anyone to know my secrets
If the customer intends to use it for mass userbase production use, it is expected to go for an extended license. We do not have any access or control over your project after purchase. Your code and data are entirely yours, but please ensure your use complies with the selected license.
The “Powered by BetterSuite” is expected to remain visible to the main administrator of the admin panel. But all client-facing apps (Rider app, Driver app, Partnership app) can be customized to redact it.
