When I scroll the page the image does not stay stationary in the middle of the screen. Can you add this function and I’ll definitely purchase.

*edit

Sorry, I forgot to include when I click the image and its in the full size, if I scroll up or down the image stays where it is. Doesn’t move with the page as I scroll it. Can you include this?

Thanks for the comment. The lightbox is designed to work that way because in certain screen resolutions, some images may require the user to scroll to see the entire image. (for long images and smaller screen resolutions for example) If we were to force the image in the center at all times, the user wouldn’t be able to see the entire image. For maximum flexibility in the control, I don’t think that is something we’d want to change.

Hi,

I am interested in this file. A couple of questions: 1] How does the image scaling/cropping happen for the thumbnails – is there admin page to do this? 2] Is the configuration for folder, thumbnail sizes in a external file? 3] Does this item include the source code as I will need to modify it per my clients’ layout/style?

Thanks.

Hi rakesh,

Sorry for the late reply, for some reason the notification didn’t work properly!

The image/scaling happens within a few methods. There is no admin panel, but you can control the size of the image through web.config settings.

All source code is included. (as is the rule with CodeCanyon) There is no compilation necessary.

Please feel free to ask further questions if you have them

Hi,

I purchased this item but am unable to get the ‘lightbox’ working. My programmer following the instructions given in your documentation. See this demo page: http://www.multimediahub.com/ImageGallerySite/default.aspx

Hope you are able to help in this.

Thanks, Rakesh

Hi Rakesh,

Are you using the included .js files? I’m getting the following errors when running it with your generated html.

Error: uncaught exception: script.aculo.us requires the Prototype JavaScript framework >= 1.6.0

Please ensure that the prototype.js and the scriptaculous.js files are the ones that I have included in the package.

Let me know if that helps.

Hi, the javascript files you mentioned are included in the ‘js’ folder

Hi Rakesh,

I found out your issue.

Your developer readded the includes for the js files, but he/she put them in the wrong order. The prototype and scriptaculous includes need to go first.

Hi,

Thanks for solving this, the ‘lightbox’ is working now!

On your demo page, the thumbnails are visible on the ‘default’ page but I cannot get them on mine. Any tip for this?

Thanks, Rakesh

Hi Rakesh,

Sorry for the initial delay in replying to your issue. If I take that long again (which it shouldn’t) please feel free to email me as well, or use the form on my profile to message me.

If you put the images in the “productimages” folder, you should see the images off the root.

Hi, thanks for the quick help, everything is working correctly now.

I have purchased this, and unzipped it and configured as suggested, with the defaults in my website. I can not get it to recognize the UC tags in a page.

web.config:
<appsettings>
        <add value="Info@swishcraftmusic.com" key="fromEmailAddress" />
        <add value="DDAutoImageGallery" key="DivergenceDevelopment.AutoImageGallery.ControlFolder" />
    </appsettings>

Under my root directory, is DDAUTOIMAGEGALLERY directory, with the contents from ZIP in it.

I add:

<%@ Register TagPrefix="uc" TagName="DDAutoImageGallery" Src="~/DDAutoImageGallery/DDAutoImageGallery.ascx" %>
to the top of my test page.

here is HTML of whole page:
<%@ Register TagPrefix="uc" TagName="DDAutoImageGallery" Src="~/DDAutoImageGallery/DDAutoImageGallery.ascx" %>
<%@ Page Language="C#" AutoEventWireup="true" CodeFile="testgal.aspx.cs" Inherits="testgal" %>

<!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.0 Transitional//EN" "http://www.w3.org/TR/xhtml1/DTD/xhtml1-transitional.dtd">

<html xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml">
<head runat="server">
    <title></title>
</head>
<body>
    <form id="form1" runat="server">
    <div>
    <uc:ddautoimagegallery galleryfolder="images" numberofcolumns="3" runat="server" />  <--- This line says is not a known element.
    </div>
    </form>
</body>
</html>

Element ddAutoImageGallery is not a known element it says.

If I try to run the page, I get:

Description: An error occurred during the parsing of a resource required to service this request. Please review the following specific parse error details and modify your source file appropriately.

Parser Error Message: Could not load type ‘DivergenceDevelopment.AutoImageGallery.DDAutoImageGallery’.

Help!

http://codecanyon.net/images/smileys/shocked.png

Try changing the CodeBehind to CodeFile in the DDAutoImageGallery.aspx file

CodeBehind =”DDAutoImageGallery.ascx.cs” to CodeFile =”DDAutoImageGallery.ascx.cs”

If that doesn’t work, please send me your entire site zipped. Thanks.

Hello,

The lightbox doesn’t seem to initiate in Google Chrome.

Any ideas?

Thx

Marcellino

Hello
