Hi, Ares not support this feature.

Hi,

Works great, one question;

Is it possible to not change the case of the files. Now everything is lowercase.

Looking forward to your reply

Hi!

thank you for purchasing Ares! Yes, it is possible – just follow these steps:

1. Open index.php in any HTML editor (or just in notepad)

2. Jump into line 665.

3. On this line find this code:

$file = strtolower($file);

4. Replace previous code with:

$file = ($file);

Hope it helps.

Hi There,

I was wondering if it’s possible to remove the File extensions limitations ? And just have it accept all file types ?

I work in hardware Engineering and deal with some rare file extensions…as I’m sure you do as well in the programming world. :)

Any help would be appreciated.

Kind Regards, -Gerry

Hi!

thank you for purchasing Ares!

Ares in the default setting has no limit for uploaded files. You can upload the file with any extension and of any size.

What you describe seems to restrictions set by your web hosting provider. Try to contact him with a question about the limit “upload_max_filesize” for your hosting program. or change your hosting provider.

A more detailed description of the restrictions on the size of uploaded files can be found in the user manual in the section “Maximum size of the uploaded file”: http://beta.mzf.cz/user_manual.html#maximum_size_of_the_uploaded_file

If you have any further questions, do not hesitate to ask.

Also One last thing,

There seems to be a File Limit…. I was trying to upload various .MP4 Video Files and any above 4 or 5 megabytes can not be uploaded.

Is there a way to remove the File Limit ?

Let me know, Thanks so much. -Gerry

Rather “File Size” limit. sorry.
