Can’t select/upload image, in the first step when I try to upload an image, I click in insert and is doing nothing, I try in a new wordpress installation and it wasn’t working neather. How can we solve this problem?

When you click on Upload Image, make sure that you click on File URL before you click on Insert the image. The link URL field should’t be empty.

Can I use the plugin in a stand-alone HTML website?

Sure but you still need to install WordPress in some directory on your server and then create an iframe to display the image. For example:

<iframe src="http://wpicode.com/animatrix-images/iframe/" style="width:100%; height:350px; " frameborder="0">
  <p>Your browser does not support iframes.</p>

Then make sure the header/footer are hidden in WordPress and there is nothing else but the image.

How good search engines can read the tooltips?

All tooltip titles and text are index-able by search engines. Titles are links and the text is a span html tag. The name and description of the image (General Settings) are also very important for SEO, because they are printed even when they are not visible. Of course if you want better SEO, it’s a good idea to make them visible, since Google probably craws the CSS/Style as well.

Is there a way to incorporate these animations into something like layerslider or revolution slider?

The image can be included via shortcodes or the PHP function. You should ask the slider developers whether you can include shortcode inside the slider or slide, or change their PHP code. You can see the function that generates Animatrix Images through this example:

$theme ='blue';
$controls ='show';
$info = 'hide';
$playbutton ='false';
$speed ='fast';
$tooltip ='auto';
echo ac_image_view($id,$theme,$controls,$info,$playbutton,$speed,$tooltip);

The description says, that one could change the width of the line. Now it is very thin. Could you tell me how to do this?

Yes you can, in animatrix-images/css/ai_style.css on line 21 change height to the number of pixels you would like to have:
.ai-line {
    height: 5px;
    position: absolute;
    width: 0;
