How to switch between local (within assets folder) and external (web hosted) .xml file?

Open RecipesXMLTagConstants.java class and look for the following constant:

    public static final String TAG_URL_SETTINGS = "http://dmb-team.com/assets/recipe/recipes_settings.xml";

As you can see now the constant is set to use an external (web hosted) .xml file.

If you want to use the local (within assets folder) .xml file just leave the constant empty, like this:

    public static final String TAG_URL_SETTINGS = "";

How can I remove the share button?

  android:layout_width="wrap_content"
  android:layout_height="wrap_content"
  android:layout_alignParentRight="true"

How does the Facebook Share work?

Simply said, Facebook doesn’t allow to pre-fill the post’s field, because it’s meant to be filled by the the user. What the app does is to attach the PlayStore link of the app to the post. So, to test it , just tab the share via Facebook icon and when the Facebook app is displayed, just write something to the post’s field and then post it. After that, go to your Facebook profile and check what is shared and you will see that in addition to the entered by you text, a box is attached below, which is linked to the app’s page within PlayStore.

How to disable the horizontal scrolling of the Recipe’s title?

Open the res/layout/list_item_single.xml file and look for the following element:

<TextView
         android:id="@+id/list_item_single_recipe_title"
         android:layout_width="fill_parent"
         android:layout_height="@dimen/listview_title_height"
         android:layout_alignBottom="@id/list_item_single_main_image"
         android:background="@color/half_transparent"
         android:ellipsize="marquee"
         android:gravity="center_vertical"
         android:marqueeRepeatLimit="marquee_forever"
         android:minHeight="30dp"
         android:paddingLeft="10dp"
         android:singleLine="true"
         android:text="Smoked samon canapes"
         android:textAlignment="center"
         android:textColor="@android:color/white"
         android:textSize="@dimen/listview_title_fontsize" />

Just delete the following attributes:

android:ellipsize="marquee"
android:marqueeRepeatLimit="marquee_forever"

So the final variant should be:

<TextView
         android:id="@+id/list_item_single_recipe_title"
         android:layout_width="fill_parent"
         android:layout_height="@dimen/listview_title_height"
         android:layout_alignBottom="@id/list_item_single_main_image"
         android:background="@color/half_transparent"
         android:gravity="center_vertical"
         android:minHeight="30dp"
         android:paddingLeft="10dp"
         android:singleLine="true"
         android:text="Smoked samon canapes"
         android:textAlignment="center"
         android:textColor="@android:color/white"
         android:textSize="@dimen/listview_title_fontsize" />

How to change the green border on the Homepage

Hello,

Open the /drawable/round_border_green.xml file and look for the following attribute:

<stroke
    android:width="2dp"
    android:color="@color/green" />

In the code above change the ”@color/green” with the desired color. You can use HEX color as well, for example:

<stroke
    android:width="2dp"
    android:color="#ff0000" />

This way you will change it to red.
