really? no live preview?
Apologies, I was traveling yesterday, so couldn’t reply.
And yes, you hard it loud & clear that its an amazing replacement of normal file upload HTML control. It doesn’t ask to alter any server side code.
All it does is that it alters the HTML structure when it is rendered at the browser, which makes sure that original file upload control is available at server side.
I didn’t upload the preview as its purely jQuery based control, which can be easily stolen by coders.
Its a working control because its been reviewed by CodeCanyon Reviewers & found it worth to be sold at the site.
Hope you buy it.
You are still interested than i have uploaded a video at youtube: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tlK4OBDVwWs
Finally, Live Preview is available for the product.
Please, have a look at the work.
Thanks and Regards,
Okay…? So why would I spend $7 on something that’s fake…...I don’t get it.
I think you are confused between words “fake” & “custom”. I would alter the thumbnail of the plug-in.
The reason that one should buy this control:
1. Its look & feel could be altered to match to the website theme. Most other file upload controls have only 1 button and no text-box or they are flash based.
2. It doesn’t upload the file and thus keeping the functionality of the original file upload control. Most other file upload controls upload it simultaneously,
3. It overcomes the functional and look & feel limitations of IE & safari.
4. It could be enhanced further to meet the requirement.
5. Price is been determined by the experienced reviewers of codeCanyon after analyzing the market. So, must be price worthy.
Hope you find it price worthy & useful now & buy it.
The coding dude,
Okay…? So why would I spend $7 on something that’s fake……I don’t get it.
Please see the reply to “TheCodingDude” for clarification of doubt.
Hope you buy it now.
I am really confused now, Why dont you add a screen recording of you using the form?
Can you please guide me for that. I would surely upload a video, if its possible.
I meant like, Why don’t you make a recording of what the form does, apply the code you are selling to a form and show it (before and after)
I think i am not getting what you are trying to say.
If you are saying that i should show the before and after code than its something like:
<input type="file" />
Thanks for discussion.
Please follow the video at youtube: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tlK4OBDVwWs
Could you explain to me what makes your paid script better then this one:
But, logic and jQuery comes into existence when you have to style a text-box & button with animation to work like file upload control. I am unable to find the option of uploading a video, else you could see it in action. We can alter the look & fell to such an extend that button & textbox could be placed at any place with a wrapper.
Hope you understand the difference now. In case of doubt, please refer to the screen shots.
Just to give an idea, please follow the video at youtube: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tlK4OBDVwWs
Why do you not post the video in description of item, or in the comments?
Or is that not allowed?
Follow the link at youtube: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tlK4OBDVwWs
Upload it to youtube then post a link to it. I’m also interested what this file does.
Thanks for the idea. Here is the link for the same: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tlK4OBDVwWs
whoever made this one is half retarded…no one is going to buy from that sloppy messy picture
Sorry, it failed to impress you by its look. But you might like it if you see the video at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tlK4OBDVwWs
can this work as a desktop application
yea, this can work as destop application in a browser. you can create a taskbar having predefined icons/buttons along with icons for these widgets been dynamically added. And this has whole log of more options. Please run the LIVE demonstration to review it.
Bought this and would like to know how to get it to do multiple uploads, rather than one at a time…...
This is for single file upload. It is no AJAX plugin to upload to server. But, only change the appearance of normal file upload.
and another thing – the docs…...?
no instructions on how to set
1) file types
2) size of files
3) **upload path ( where the hell do they go? )
4) what about multiple users?
I’m gonna stop fiddling on this for the moment, looks like I’m going to have to get an alternative… bummer!
Sorry, but I think you are mistaken. Please, see the video and description before buying it. This plugin is just meant to change the appearance of normal file upload. Let me know if I am not clear.
GLWS nice work!
