Is this also compatible with Elementor or Divi?

Hi @mangoman,

Thank you for your interest in the emojis plugin.

This plugin is primarily designed to work with WordPress Gutenberg – WordPress’ new block editor.

It does not have direct support for other third-party page builders like those you mentioned.

Cheers!

hi, one pre sales questions, if the plugin doesn’t work as per my requirements, do you offer refunds or is there any refund policy?

Hi @sunny444,

Thank you for your interest in the Algori Emojis Plugin.

Yes, we do offer a refund;

1. if you find the plugin faulty and our support can’t rectify the issue or

2. if you find the plugin does not work as described in its documentation.

Here is the refund policy we use since we sell exclusively on Envato: https://themeforest.net/page/customer_refund_policy

We are confident though that you won’t ask for a refund because we deliver a good quality plugin and our support is happy to solve any issues you may have :)

In case of any further queries, please ask. I’ll be happy to clarify and have you as a buyer :D

Thanks

I bought the plugin. I have few issues: - When I select the emoji from the block, the emoji picker doesn’t close automatically. I have everytime click on the emoji icon to close it. - It is not possible to increase the size of the emoji after it is added. I need to first increase size and then add it. This is not a good behaviour. - Your plugin is not compatible with WP Discuz comments plugin. I cannot add emojis to comments.

Please fix these issues, if these can’t be fixed then I would like to request for refund. Thanks!

Hi @sunny444,

Sorry to hear you’re having challenges using this plugin.

Please see below responses to your inquiries;

1. Emoji Picker doesn’t close automatically after picking emoji:

We designed the picker to work this way in case a user needs to pick more than one emoji just like your WhatsApp emoji picker doesn’t close automatically when you pick an emoji – you choose to close it.

Since you don’t like this behavior we are going to add a provision for you so that it closes automatically.

2. Increase Emoji Size:

In order for one to increase the Emoji Size, you adjust the size from the inspector section then choose an emoji that will have the size you set as stated in the documentation.

3. Not compatible with WP Discuz comments plugin:

Algori Emojis is a Gutenberg block plugin, it’s designed to work with the Gutenberg editor i.e one can use it in their posts and pages not comments.

We value our customers and are going to work with you to rectify any issues until you’re satisfied with our service.

I request that we continue this conversation via email as it is faster. Kindly contact me here contact@kevinbazira.com, and I will be happy to respond to any questions or provide you with more clarity where necessary.

Looking forward to hearing from you here: contact@kevinbazira.com

Thanks

Hi @gnfb1234,

Thank you for your interest in the Algori Emojis Plugin for WordPress Gutenberg.

Yes, with this plugin you will be able to easily insert emojis into your posts and pages then adjust them to your preferred size.

Hope this has answered your question :)

In case of any further queries, please ask. I’ll be happy to clarify and have you as a buyer :D

Thanks

It says for Gutenberg though, Is there any possibility to use this on Tiny MCE?

Hi @a_user,

Thank you for your interest in the Algori Emojis Plugin for WordPress Gutenberg.

I guess you’re asking whether this plugin can be used in the WordPress Classic editor. The answer is no. :)

However, it extends the TinyMCE functionality in Gutenberg and that’s how it enables one to add emojis to their web page.

Hope this has answered your question :)

In case of any further inquiries, please feel free to ask. I’ll be happy to clarify and have you as a buyer :D

Thanks

What about the license? I mean… Neither the messenger emoji, nor the Apple emoji are free to use, so this could cause some legal issues.

Do you have any written confirmation, that you are allowed to distribute and/or use them? If yes, count me as buyer. If not, i would recommend you to remove them from your product.

Hi @SoftCreatR,

Thank you for reaching out. We contacted the Apple Rights and Permissions Team and the Facebook Brand Permissions Team requesting for permission to use their emoji sets.

Facebook did not approve our request and Apple has not yet responded. We have updated the Algori Emojis plugin and removed Facebook, Messenger and Apple Emojis.

The plugin now has 3 emoji sets which users can choose from and below are their open source licenses that allow us to distribute and/or use them in our product.

1. Twitter Emojis: https://github.com/twitter/twemoji/blob/gh-pages/LICENSE

2. Google Emojis: https://github.com/googlei18n/noto-emoji/blob/master/LICENSE

3. Emoji One Emojis: https://d1j8pt39hxlh3d.cloudfront.net/license-free.pdf

Thanks again for your inquiry. In case you have any further questions, please ask. We shall be happy to clarify and have you as a customer. :)

Kevin.
