Can’t seem to get it working. I have the Salient theme with custom post types. We get the pagination buttons to disappear but the infinite scroll does not appear… We also get a JavaScript error: custom.js:35 Uncaught TypeError: jQuery(...).live is not a function %3E:1 Uncaught SyntaxError: Unexpected identifier

Hello it seems to there is a conflict with the jquery version you are using. Please send me the ftp credentials to my email (lmaroulis2003@gmail.com) and i will fix this.

When I click next all I get is “There was a problem. Please try again.” for each post

I replied to your email.

The pagination seems to work but on newly loaded images in our gallery, the images dont have any classes. We assign these classes via php based on tags for filtering. It doesn’t seem to reload the php output of these when next is clicked.

You need to use callback functions for this. Check the documentation.

hello, it doesn’t seem to be functioning right….the infinite scrolling keeps infinitely loading only the next article and nothing else..any ideas?

i am using WordPress 4.3.2

Hello, check you have setup next link correctly. It seems that is pointing to the same post. If you still have problem send me the url to check.

Hi

Is this work if you want to split one wp post with <!-nextpage-> tag? Or it only loads the next and previous posts from the wordpress

This only work with real links not with anchors! So in your case it will not work!

I have three questions to buy the plugin. 1. Does it change url of a new shown post after scrolling? 2. Does it download Google Analitics code for SEO factors? 3. Can the plugin load next page after comments not instead of them ?

Hello, I haven’t put the history feature to this plugin so the answer to 1 is no. The answer to your second question is also no. The 3 is doable but it depends on how your template has setup the page, pagination etc. Then all you need is to setup the correct wrappers in plugin settings page.

Than I gave you three ideas for free, how to develope your plugin. The thing of such things is just not to give users new experience but also to improve SEO factors.

Hi there,

would like to ask you a question on how this plugin work for infinite scroll.

i am trying to create a page something like kickstarter where they display all the different projects with their infinite scroll.

i’ve created this page as an example :

http://mettabuy.com/index.php/campaignwall/

and i want to know how do i add the next page to it? with the other wordpress plugins, i have to use the blog post page to have it function, but i don’t get the result that i want.

i want to create the http://mettabuy.com/index.php/campaignwall/ as a page, with my customization. maybe i can put 9 post per page, and then link the infinite scroll to page 2 with another 9 post, and infinite scroll to page 3 with 9 post, etc …

can that work that way, because i read that your version of infinite scroll is working with links.

thanks

Hello,

In order to have this plugin working you have to setup pagination. Check this link to find out how you can accomplish this: https://codex.wordpress.org/Pagination

If you use custom post types without modifying the default theme the wordpress will handle to setup this for you.

But bare in mind that in order this plugin to work you have already a pagination. And then all you need is to setup the plugin (with the css selectors of your pagination).

Best, Leonidas

Hi, I’ve got this setup and working, just for individual posts. It is working well, except it waits till you get to the end of the post before loading the next post. Is there anyway I can start it loading the next post in advance so they don’t have to wait.

Thanks

Currently this is not supported by this plugin but i have already implemented this feature in infinite scroll for woocommerce so i am planning to add this feature soon when i find some spare time.

Best

can you make scroll posts like this website http://goo.gl/6JJKY3 (try to scroll. Look at logic)?

I want that when users scroll down old post is hide and new posts is show.

No unfortunately this effect is not supported by this plugin.

Hello—Can you please advice if this theme works for our site www.telugu360.com. We use a custom theme.

Hello, yes you can use it in your theme but first you need to add some css classes to the next button in your pagination. That way you could make it easier to setup the selectors in plugin settings page. Also you may need to use some javascript callbacks (which i describe in documentation) in order to put the lazy loading effect you have every time you load new products.

The theme I’m using doesn’t look to have a ‘next page selector’ – looks to only say .uk-pagination>li>a in the code. So what are my options? Look at it on this page: dev.cougarmtn.com/blog/.

I’m able to select the next character >> by using this on the style sheet, but it doesn’t work with the plugin: .uk-pagination > li:last-child > a

Hello, this will not work. For example what do you expect to happen when you reach the last page if you put that selector? You will repeating last page over and over again. The solution is to put a class for the next element in your theme template.

newspaper theme does it work ?

I could not know the compatibility with each theme.

Hi … looks like a great plugin :)

I would use it for loading single posts … I see 6 months ago toxicchili asked

“Is there anyway I can start it loading the next post in advance so they don’t have to wait.”

you replied …

“i have already implemented this feature in infinite scroll for woocommerce so i am planning to add this feature soon when i find some spare time.”

Just wanted to check when that functionality will be implemented … also will it work with Wordpress 4.6?

Many thanks in advance

Hello projectmunton, unfortunately i cannot guarantee that i will implement this functionality soon because i really don’t have much time right now. But if I do, it would certainly be compatible with the latest wordpress version. Best Regards

Thanks pantrif for the quick reply … Sure thing, I will keep an eye out for this update and make a purchase when it is released … thanks again
