When I load the slider onto a page, it is pushed over to the right until I hover over the slider and the move off. I just want it to load correctly.

Hi,

I’m not sure what you mean when you say that the slider is “pushed over to the right”. Is the first panel opened and the other panels collapsed to the right? If so, you need to set the Start Panel option to -1. If you’re referring to something else, please post a link of the page, so I can see exactly what the issue is.

Our menu bar all are not functioning after using your plugin, could you advice how to avoid this conflict?

Cannot be clicked and navigate after using your plugin.

Thanks

Hi,

Please post a link to the page that contains the accordion, and I’ll take a look.

Hello! Is it possible to do so that when you hover mouse black and white photo changed to color?

Hi,

Yes, it’s possible and there are two ways to do it:

1. The plugin has a built-in option that allows you to specify two images for each panel: one that is visible when the panel is collapsed and one that is visible when the panel is opened. You can set a black and white image for the collapsed state and a colour image for the opened state.

2. The other method, if you don’t have a black and white version of the image, is to use some custom CSS and apply a filter to the images:

.as-background {
    filter: grayscale(100%);
}

.as-panel.as-opened .as-background {
    filter: grayscale(0%);
}

Hi, how are you? I have a small problem with your plugins. Our website has a ajax loading script. I have force the loading of this 2 files:

public/assets/css/accordion-slider.min.css public/assets/js/jquery.accordionSlider.min.js

And in the seetings I have make the Load stylesheets on all pages.

You can look the problem on this site: https://www.lfm.ch/

If you click on the Radio in the menu, you can see the problem. If you make the refresh of this page, all is ok…

Do I have to load another file?

Thanks for your help :)

Matthieu

Hi Matthieu :)

AJAX themes execute their JavaScript code each time a page loads, but it doesn’t do it for the accordion. The solution would be to manually call the accordion’s instantiation code. If you need help with this, please submit a support ticket at support.bqworks.com and provide some login credentials.

why you dont update the plugin ?

Hi,

The plugin is compatible with the latest WordPress versions, so an update is not necessary. I see that you’re not a customer…are you interested in some specific features that are currently not available? Please let me know and maybe I can offer a solution even for the current release.

Hi, I am trying to find a plugin exactly the same as the example on this page: https://kriesi.at/themes/enfold-travel/

Can your plugin do the same? ie. Full width, link to seperate page, show text, etc..etc…

Hi. Yes, it’s possible to achieve the same functionality.

Pre sale question. Can you add a title on top of the slider, not on the panels/images. Let me explain, The white border around the slide, can I add text on that area, top area ?

Hi,

If the accordion is added in a widget area, the built-in accordion widget will allow you to set a title. If not, then it’s not possible to add it from within the accordion.

Hi,

Why the plugin is not updated since 2016?

Thx

I’ve noticed this custom CSS, which, if you remove, seems to fix the problem:

.as-horizontal .as-opened img {
    width: 100%
}

Best, David

ok thank you

You’re welcome!

Hello, Does this plugin has money back if it doesn’t do what I want? I want to use a slider to start when click on a section with image background that actually will take the place of the image and when on click closed to have the image section background image back. Thank you in advance, Tiesgr

Hi Tiesgr,

There is a refund policy (you can search the article in Envato’s Help Center). If the product works as advertised and demonstrated, but not necessarily as you intended to use it, you are not entitled to a refund, but I would still offer it if the client requests it. However, it’s best to ask questions and try to determine whether you’ll be able to use the plugin before making the purchase.

Regarding the functionality you’re trying to achieve, that will require some additional code (external, not to the plugin’s files); it’s not something offered out of the box, but it’s possible to achieve it.

Please let me know if you have further questions.

Hi. Is this plugin tested with wordpress version 4.9.4? I use Kingcomposer Can I put the slide there? Finally, is it possible to use ligthbox in the images to see them big?

Thank you.

Regards,

Hi. Yes, it’s tested with version 4.9.4. You should be able to use the accordion inside any page composer. You can also open the images in a lightbox as you can see in Example 2.

recently purchased the plugin for Wordpress for a new site I’m developing. I’m noticing the test slider works intermittently – sometimes showing like it should and other times only showing one image. I’ve even noticed the issue on my mobile device. Thought it might be a conflict with another plugin on the page, so I inserted it on a page with no other plugins, but still the same issue. Any suggestions on why this may be happening? I’m running the current version of Wordpress 4.9.4 and version 1.5.0 of the plugin.

The immediate cause of the problem is the missing JavaScript files for both the accordion and the gallery. And it’s not only the accordion’s or the gallery’s JS files that are missing, there are other missing files and code as well: custom-facebook-feed/js/cff-scripts.js, custom-twitter-feeds/js/ctf-scripts.js, instagram-feed/js/sb-instagram.min.js, and even wp-includes/js/wp-embed.min.js. You can compare the page’s HTML source when the issue occurs and when it doesn’t, and you will see that the entire HTML block that should output the JS files is missing, so the problem is general.

I’m not sure how a conflict between the accordion and the gallery could cause this. I’ve installed NextGen locally, for testing, and the problem doesn’t occur; the slider and the gallery are running fine in the same page even if I refresh the page. I would look for the root cause of the issue somewhere else. Maybe it’s the Endurance Page Cache functionality or maybe something in the theme. Please try to deactivate the page cache or temporarily switch the theme, and see if any of these fixes the issue. Anyway, when you’re doing debugging, don’t just check if the accordion is running or not, please check the HTML source code to see if that block of HTML is missing or not.

David

David – thanks for the updates.. It appears the Endurance Page Cache is possibly the issue. It’s not a plugin I installed, but appears to be a common issue with Host Gator automatically installing the plugin. Tried to remove it, which was successful, but within a short period of time it was reinstalled. Luckily this is just the test server and will be moved before launch.

Glad I could help!

Hi,

Does you plugin provide diagonal sliders, a little like this: https://projects.invisionapp.com/share/82GOBTB5E6R#/screens/289135833_Elcomponent2 – this shows the effect, if you move the mouse over.

The sliders are diagonal? It may be just an additional effect using your plugin as a base?

If you could let me know that would be great.

Hi. No, diagonal slides are not provided. They might be achievable with CSS, but I can’t recommend it to use this plugin as a base for that king of style.

Best,
David

Many thanks
