Hi – I bought the pro version to use it for multiple twitter usernames.
There is no logic in listing multiple usernames ie the tweets from multiple usernames. I was expecting the tweets to be sorted sequentially by the elapsed time but it does not appear to be the case. Can you please confirm?
Secondly, It is possible to display a specific list from a username? How difficult would be that enhancement otherwise?
Thank you for writing in.
Yes, currently the tweets from multiple usernames are grouped in single feed and displayed in the random order.
Twitter API doesn’t provide such kind of API to fetch the twitter feeds from different account at once so we have fetched the feeds separately and grouped together and due to which it couldn’t get ordered by elapsed time.
And regarding twitter lists, can you please provide us some detail so that we could do some research regarding the possibility of adding the feature in the future updates ?
Can you use this plugin to display individual tweets? I’m interested in embedding single tweets (not feeds) with the styling of this plugin.
You can set the number of tweets to be fetched and displayed so if you keep only 1 tweet for display then it will work as per your need.
Even if it is an specific tweet from a long time ago? According to the documentation I can only display the most recent Tweet, not specific tweet IDs that aren’t the most recent from a timeline. Is that still possible?
Unfortunately, that is not possible currently. But you can set the cache period in the plugin which will display the once fetched tweet for longer time.
Too bad If the plugin had the possibility of displaying single tweets from an ID I would buy it instantly, I like a lot the skins and also the image lightbox. I will be checking the plugin in case you add this feature in the future. Thank you for the clarification.
We also felt the same. We will try to include this feature in our future updates if possible.
The twitter API only provides the images that are directly uploaded into twitter while posting in the twitter and doesn’t provides the images that are displayed when links are pasted in the tweet which twitter itself fetches from the link.
Can you please confirm if tweets with links are not showing images or tweets with image that are directly uploaded to twitter are also not showing by posting the tweet with the image directly uploaded to twitter?
Ok, so I’ve confirmed that images directly uploaded into Twitter work but images uploaded to Tweets that we are retweeting do not work. Is this how it’s supposed to work?
The twitter will send the uploaded pictures as the media when fetched but we are exactly not sure regarding the retweets. So, we will check and get back to you shortly.
We heartily apologize for the delay. We were just confirming this with the twitter but it seems they will take longer time to get back to us.
So we again checked in the Twitter API docs and it seems twitter API doesn’t provide the tweet image of the retweets. We are still in search for the solution and if we find any, then we will surely implement those in our plugin.
I installed the plugin and all looks great but there are no images in the feed!
Images are uploaded directly in the tweet. How do I get the images to display? http://www.teatrodusebologna.it/wp/ Twitter feed: https://twitter.com/TeatroDuse
We tried to check but we couldn’t find our feed on the site. Can you please send us the page where you have used our feed.
And also, can you please check the below option in our plugin settings if it has been checked our not ?
Some of the links are being cut off on the feed. How do I get around this?
Example on: https://cid.boisestate.edu/hes/ – first tweet cuts off “https://…” and it’s not clickable.
Can you please send us your site wp-admin login details using the contact form available in the below link so that we can check and fix the issue ?
Hi, I am trying to use the hashtag feature on my tweetfeed but everytime i try to do that it takes hashtag feeds from every other user that has used that hashtag also i want this to be form only my twitter username.
Currently, user specific hashtag is not available yet. Our current update is on review queue. So, we will add this feature in our next update. But still, we will help you to achieve this by doing a small edit in one of our plugin files.
Please open accesspress-twitter-feed-pro.php and go to line num 413 and then just below it, add below code.
Replace your_twitter_username with your actual twitter username such as @instagram, @facebook etc.
After adding the code, it should look like below screenshot.
Let us know if you encounter any issues while implementing this fix.
Wow, really fast reply and on point solution. It worked like a charm i am glad i bought this plugin from you.
That’s really great!! If you really liked our plugin then please give us a rating from below link.
Is it possible to have a load more button or autorefresh for the feeds just like twiter does. i do not want the users to have to refresh page to see the latest feed.
Currently, load more button or auto refresh for the feeds is unavailable because our plugin doesn’t use Iframe to generate twitter feeds but uses Twitter API to fetch the tweet as data from the twitter.
We will check with the Twitter API and implement this feature in our future updates if Twitter API does provides this functionality.
I installed the free version of AccessPress Twitter Feed and was very impressed.
I then decided to purchase the pro version however the pro version will not work on my site.
I have tried to use the shortcodes in differing formats but it still refuses to work.
Can you assist.
Can you please explain the issues in detail using the contact form available in the below link so that we could understand it better and provide you the appropriate solutions ?
If possible, please use some screenshots while explaining. For sending us screenshots, please upload screenshots to your site and then send us URL in the contact message.
Hmmm…. Nice app, but maybe I did something wrong?
Going from the free to pro was ambiguous – I had all the settings in for the free version working fine, but the only way to ‘go pro’ was to disable and delete the ‘free’ version. when reactivating to ‘pro’ I had to start all over again with everything… very annoying. I should be able to just enter my license and have the ‘pro’ features unlocked and such….
Yes, currently you will need to reconfigure it again in the PRO version. We will fix this in our upcoming updates soon so that it won’t be hassle anymore for upcoming buyers.
Hi. A presales questions: is this compatible with 4.7? I’ve had a few issues with plugins and 4.7 so I’m a bit wary. Thanks.
Yes, our plugin is WP 4.7 compatible.
Wow! Quick reply, thanks!
(Sorry, no idea why this appeared twice.)
No problem at all, Sometimes it happens in codecanyon comment.
Hi! I’m trying out your free version. It says in your product explanation above claims that “Feeds with image integrated” and it shows Template 1 and Template 2 having images.
I’ve checked Template 1, 2, and 3 included in the free version, they don’t show any image at all. Does this mean that image integration only works for the paid version? Please confirm.
Yes, you are right. The twitter media images are only supported in the PRO version.
This app does not display images from retweets that I make – which is specifically why I paid 20 bucks for it. Fix or refund please.
Can you please share us the URL of the page where you have used our plugin?
Here you go : https://www.billtoole.net/wordpress/twitter1/
We just figured out that it’s actually not with the retweets media because some of the retweets are showing with the images too.
It’s actually with the length of the tweet. If the text length of the tweet is around 140 characters, then the tweet image are not being shown up and it’s the latest change in the twitter API.
We have already figured out its solution and we will submit the update in codecanyon but it may take some days to get approved. So can you please send us a PM using the contact form available in the below link so that we can send you the beta version with the fix.
just bought your product!
i need some help, im using enfold theme. and i want to show twitter feed with hashtag, [ap-twitter-feed-pro hashtag=”#indocomtech”]
i put the shortcode at text block or code block, but nothing happen. can yo help me?
We have checked in the provided link and it seems you are now able to display the tweets in the slider.
How can I find out the version number of the current available download?
The latest version is 1.1.4 and you can download the latest version from your codecanyon’s download page.
Hi! I’m thinking about buying your plugin. Just one pre sale question: Does your plugin work with visual composer?
We haven’t tested our plugin with the visual composer but our plugin does support shortcode. So if you will paste our plugin’s shortcode in the visual composer editor which support shortcode then our plugin shall work.
Do you have a .po file I could use to translate the date in Twitter timeline? If not, is there a way to disable the date from showing? Thanks in advance!
Can you please send us the screenshot of the section which you want to translate so that we can check in the plugin if that section is translatable or not? If the section is generated through twitter API then it might not be translatable.
Also please provide us the URL of the page where you have used our plugin.
I sent you a private message with the details.
We have replied to the same email.
Thanks for the custom css code. It worked perfectly!
That’s great and thank you very much for the review
Hi, i thinkin about buy your plug in. One question, with this plug in i can show on my web the lastests tweets of any twiter just with the user? without acces token or consumer key? And other thing, y will use de twitter slider, can i change de css of that? thanks.
Yes, you can use any twitter username to display the tweets in your site with your twitter app credentials.
And regarding changing CSS, if you know CSS then you can change CSS of the slider.
Hi there, I just bought your plugin a few minutes ago, after successfully installing it, I tried to use the shortcode on my web but it seems that it crashes, are you able to assist?
my web is astra.officialnewlaunch.com (I have removed the shortcode now) under the Update Section
because if i put the shortcode, my web display white blank space
I just put in this [ap-twitter-feed-pro hashtag=”#movie”] but nothing happen
here on https://artra.officialnewlaunch.com
I pasted the code like this
Can you please double check the credentials used in our plugin?
And have you tried using some other shortcodes too? If not then can you please check by just keeping [ap-twitter-feed-pro] shortcode and check if the twitter feeds are being fetched or not.
Hi thank for the reply, may i know which credentials are you referring to?
I just used this: [ap-twitter-feed-pro] and now the whole website is blank
you may check at https://artra.officialnewlaunch.com
i apologize, now it’s up! and solved! thanks
Can you please mention what was actually the issue?
Hi, I am not using WordPress, I am working on a responsive website using bootstrap. can I use this plugin easily? or it just works with WordPress?
Currently, our plugin only works with WordPress platform.
Hi, im thinking of purchasing your plugin. Question about news ticker display of tweets. Can I display as a horizontal scroll across page or is only vertical supported?
There are three tweet display modes available.
1. Normal list mode where you can display twitter feeds in list format.
2. Slider Mode – In this mode you can display tweets in horizontal slider format
3. Ticker Mode – In this mode you can display the tweets in a vertical ticker format.
So if you require horizontal then you can use Slider Mode.
Please go through our demo to get more clarified.
