Ok I bought this one and I have a couple of questions:

1. I translate the .pot but when I upload the file via FTP to the folder /languages/ how the file must be named?

2. Can I create a custom field for email and/or phone number and lock them to receive just emails or numbers?

3. What type of custom field must I create to have a dropwdown with all the States?

Ok thanks, but guess what? I translated 100% the .po file and there´s still missing like 20% of the total of the phrases of the plugin…

Important in the frontend:

- Human Check

- Tags

- Categories

Important in Admin: the tabs EMAIL SETTINGS and ABOUT

but there´s many phrases not included in the .pot

Ok I’ve solved the one in the front :)

That’s great!

We will update missing translations in our next update.

Thanks.

HI

Presale question Can author of the post edit after published it?

Hello there,

Thank you for writing in.

Currently, our plugin doesn’t incorporate any frontend post editing feature.

Thanks.

Ok one more question :P

The fields that I created/added, aren’t searchable?

let’s say that I added for phone, email, states, and when I use the search widget the data it can’t be found…

Hello there,

Yes, by default, WordPress search doesn’t search custom fields values. So you may need some other plugins or add some extra codes to make it searchable. Please go through below link which can help you to make search form search for custom fields too.

Thanks.

Hello when plugin will be compatible with WPML ?

Hello there,

Thank you for writing in.

Currently our plugin is compatible with WPML i.e you can choose which language post to be received using our form from the general settings of the plugin.

Thanks.

Hello, we love your plugin but have one main problem – the email confirmation does not send to the author when the post is published.

We tried many variations of settings, including Draft and Pending posts. Logged in or guest, etc.

We DO get the notification that a post was submitted every time, reliably. But never once have we gotten the “your post has been published” email to the author.

The author’s email is confirmed to be in the post’s custom field and all spam folders have been checked.

What do you think could be the problem? Thanks for your time.

Hello there,

Thank you for reaching out to us.

We have checked in our development servers and Author Email is being received properly. So there might be some misconfiguration or some other factors for this issue in your server.

Did you fill all the necessary details required for User notification ? Please check the below screenshot.

The from name and from email should be distinct than real person from name and email.

Thanks.

After doing some trial and error we got the email confirmation to author to work ONLY when sending a regular POST type.

For our purposes, we need the published post email to send on a CUSTOM post type submission. Is there any reason as to why the email confirmation to the author is not sending when the post is submitted as a custom post type? Does it have something to do with requiring a taxonomy structure for the custom post type?

Thank you for your help.

Hello,

Thank you for confirming this.

We have done some testing and we assume the custom post type in your site might have been registered after our plugin calls the user notification email due to which it fails to execute the user email notification for that specific custom post types.

So, we have generalized a solution for this issue. Can you please open accesspress-anonymous-post-pro.php file and go to line number 52 and then replace that line with below line of code ?

add_action( 'init', array( $this, 'notify_user_email' ),100,2 );

Please let us know if you encounter any issues while integrating the code.

Thanks.

Hello there,

Thank you for writing in.

Two add image button are not supported for the post content. Can you please explain why you needed two add image button in the post content ?

You can also receive other images using custom fields too by adding custom fields file uploader in the form.

Thanks

thank you for answer

i need two image upload button in post content

because if people see just one image upload button then people just upload one image only. so i need to buttons

or it it possible to change?

2 or 3 image require for submit in Post Content?

please help thank you

Hello,

The same button can be used to upload the image multiple number or times. So you can leave a small note in the post content label mentioning to upload multiple images.

Thanks.

I am kicking myself for buying this licence. The custom fields do not integrate nicely with custom fields from ACF – I don’t see much use in being able to select an advanced date-AND-time picker from ACF that can only be displayed as a plain date picker in AccessPress form.

Hello there,

Thank you for writing in.

Our plugin custom fields follows default WordPress meta key and meta value structure for storing custom fields. And ACF custom fields have their own mechanism of storing the custom fields values and displaying those values.

So if meta keys are matched and the data structure of values that are received from our form and the ACF are exact same then it will integrate with ACF or any other custom fields generated by plugins. Else custom fields generated by other plugins

And regarding advanced date and time picker, currently our plugin only have the simple datepicker.

Thanks.

Hello, we are also getting the “Unsupported file type” error when specifically trying to upload jpg images in the form with an UPPER CASE file extension (.JPG).

We are using Version 3.1.3.

Here is an example of the form being used:

https://www.saltydogs.com/salty_dogs_badges/padi-open-water-diver/

This is very important to us considering a lot of our submissions will be photos from iPhones which natively have the upper case extension.

Thanks again for your help

Hello there,

Thank you for writing in.

This issue has already been fixed on our latest version. Our latest version is 3.1.5 . Can you please download the latest version from below link.

https://codecanyon.net/downloads

While downloading please choose “All files and Documentation” . For updating the plugin please deactivate and delete the existing version and then install and activate the downloaded latest version.

Please let us know if you still find any issues after updating too.

Thanks.

Hi guys I’m currently experiencing problems with the submisison form, many people told me that it was not working when they tried to upload pictures. It’s strange because for some people it work but for some it doesn’t . Also yesterday someone submitted a post but the pics weren’t uploaded at all, the guy told me the photo uploaded correctly ( showing green bars ) but I can’t see them on my media list. Also one day one guy uploaded pictures but they were very small size. Any ideas why ? This is not the first time I contact you, I regularly have upload problems with this plugin, even if it’s very useful it seems lacking of compatibility with wordpress. I would really appreciate your help and a definitive solution to stop these issues. THank you

Hello there,

Thank you for writing in.

Can you please provide us the URL of the page where you have used our form so that we can check the file uploader?

Thanks

Hello,

The following file may not be 100% malicious code/scripts, but it triggered my website’s antivirus software because it contains code elements and commands that have been used in different malicious scripts.

Will you please analyze the following file name and verify that they are indeed necessary components to the proper functioning of your plugin and not something I should block immediately?

Here is the file name:

/wp-content/plugins/accesspress-anonymous-post-pro/file-uploader/file-uploader-class.php

Thank you,

David

Hello David,

Thank you for writing in.

The mentioned file is an important file which is being used by our custom field file uploader field for uploading files in the WordPress Media.

We have checked the file and there aren’t any malicious code. But we want to tally the file in your server with the actual file if the file has been affected by the malicious code or not.

So can you please upload that file somewhere on your server and provide the URL of the file to download and check. Please zip that file so that it will be downloadable.

And please send us the link from the contact form available in the below link.

https://codecanyon.net/user/accesskeys#contact

Thanks.
