Instructors can upload videos to their amazon s3 servers from inside Academy LMS and use them as lessons.

Can the bucket files be accessed directly if someone has the bucket url? In the s3 config pdf page 2, The settings shown makes everything public. Cant the direct link be protected if this is the case?
Is it mandatory we use the bucket location in the docs or can we pick any location we want? Docs location is very far from my audience in US and latency can be introduced
