I’ve been using 66vcard since November 2021, and have regularly been asked to add Steam as an authentication method. I was wondering if there is any demand on adding this in the next update. If not, would you be able to tell me which files I need to edit to implement this myself, I am already familiar with the Vendor folder where all other Social Auths are also located.

Im sorry, there are no plans to add steam auth, as literally I got almost no questions/demand for it whatsoever in the last years.
To add it, you’d personally need to open the whole project up in an IDE, open the login/register app/controllers/ files and start to investigate what and how things are done, so you can try to replicate it with the Steam one.

Unless I’m missing something, how is my site supposed to make money using 66vcard? Because Linktr.ee offeres this same list of links to users for free.
I’m baffled at the cost of $229 for extended license when it is doesn’t have many of the features of other vcards on this same platform, going for much less! No Photo/Video Gallery, No Logo/Banner, No appointments/Calendars, Products, User Payments section, QR codes, Contact form, Opening hours, Map, Testimonials etc. Just a list of links.
These added features are what will make users part with cash periodically.

If you are looking for advanced functionality, you should check out my 66biolinks product on my portfolio.
Regarding the price, you have to keep in mind that it is ultimately a one time payment you are paying, for a continuously updated product, to start a business.
If you would ever ask a web development company to build you something like this, or something similar to my other products – you’d be paying tens of thousands of dollars in development fees and months, if not years in waiting time for it to be finished.

5. After the VCARD is created it should be stored in Hard Drives (Storage) which is other than main OS Drive which the Ubuntu and the script is installed, can this be done?
6. So as far as i know Extended License is for lifetime validity, correct?
7. When you update the script, do all the changes need to be redone in the scripts?
8. Are updates automatic? If they are, can it be disabled by the user?
9. Is there a provision to take backups of Vcard Data?

3 – You can already upload your own logo via the admin panel, nothing complicated.
4 – The Regular License does not have any payment related features, so you can not charge users money.
5 – The Vcard data is stored in the database, and the Vcard files (images) are stored on the server.
6 – Correct.
7 – If you modify files, customly, then you’d need to re-add those changes, yes.

9 – You can simply take backups of the whole product installation via files (zip) and database export (SQL) via your own webhosting provider panels.
