I want to add download link of all surveys so that user can download surveys from there. Is it possible?

Do you mean the export file of the survey? After you create the export on the admin, you can see a link to the export file. It is possible to give that link to the users as a downloadable content. It is contains the results as well and you have to make it for each survey.

yes how should I give “export file” link to user as a downloadable content.
When you export the survey on the admin, you get a permanent link to download the file. With right click->Copy Link Address, you can get the link and place it to anywhere to make the export public. You have to know, the export file will be refreshed only, when you export it again.
Find the example exports on the item’s page.

It means that i have to add that link manually every time for new survey report.
The link will not be changed, the content of the file will refreshed only when you export it again. (I mean the votes of the answers)

is there any way through which I can sort Surveys count gender base.
for ex. can i filter survey i.e. how many females voted in particular survey thanks again
The plugin provides conditional logic to control the next question regarding to the answer. So, you can create the first question about a gender of the visitor and you can close the survey for males if you want. If voted male, then head it to the end of the survey. If voted female, then continue the survey as normal.
Another way to ask about a gender without any redirection. In this case, you will also get an information about how many females and males participated in the survey. The results can be filtered to any questions/answers with charts or text format.
There are no other ways to find out the visitor’s gender, just ask them.

Hi there. I’v installed the plugin and whenever I try and save a survey I get an “Error during the save process” notification next to the save button and the survey will not show on the page where I’ve inserted the shortcode.
Suggestions?

By the way, probably it is a conflict with another plugin that prevents Modal Survey to work properly.
You may try to temporary disable the other plugins.

Just checked your website and found a minor problem.
The theme or any other the plugin generates an unexpected output for each AJAX request, it was the main problem.
I modified the plugin to ignore any other texts, so it is works now perfectly.
Regarding to the frontend issue, the survey appeared for me normally. If you already voted it won’t be displayed again until you clear the cookies from the browser. This function is built for prevents duplicate votes from the same users.

How does this work? Is it based on IP address?
I have the “Display once per user” option off, and the poll still doesn’t show for me after emptying the cache and a hard reload. I was able to view it on my mobile device, though.
Also, is there not a way to display a message if someone has done the poll already? There seemed to be a message embedded in the shortcode but it is only showing a blank page for users who have previously taken the survey.
One last thing; is it possible to have questions where multiple answers can be selected?

It is works with only Cookies. I didn’t want to make IP check, because many of users can use the same network.
Emptying the cache doesn’t mean the cookies has been deleted from your browser.
The plugin provides an option to display the survey with an onclick event. In this case, there is not a possibility to simply hide the survey. It needs to display a message after the user clicked. The message that you mentioned is for this purpose.
Just working on a new version of the plugin, so I’ll considering to add this function.
Multiple answers feature is also on my TODO list.

Just would like to letting you know, a new version has released that display the “already filled out” message in embed mode as well. Furthermore, it provides many new features, see the full list in the changelog.txt (in the downloaded full ZIP)

I like your plugin but ther are some problems
1. Option”Display Once per User” is nort working, same thing if on or off it showing allways except..
2. I figured if I click on 1.answer (backend first one..fixed) survey will not showing the next time, but is same if option “Display Once per User” is off or on
3. I can’t use more then one survey on the same Page (style: flat)
4. answers has ugly background if I using border radius
suggestion: in backend will be clickable list of surveys better as accordian
adding shortcodes from editor menu (like many other plugins) will be awesome

Can you confirm following 2 things:
Can a poll be set up with a series of questions that must be answered before allowing access to the last final question. eg Q 1 to 6 must be answered before Q7 is open to answer.
Also
Can the polling start stop time be set up on an automatic reset every 24 hours. eg at midnight the poll starts and finishes at 23:55. The poll logs the last 24 hours closes that poll. Then automatically at say midnight again it becomes active with new poll date.
So everyday I want to poll a daily event with the results of each daily event available for download or importation to graphic presentation then the same poll happens again next day etc etc etc.

1. Yes, exactly.
2. You can reset the counters, but it is not automatic. Needs to click on a button through the administration area.
Downloading or exporting the results is not a feature at the moment. It is possible to display it on a page/post or simply check on the admin area.

Role management is not the part of the plugin yet. Alternatively, you can find many of plugins that can manage access to the plugins or to the menu links.

Is it possible to get results for each individual survey (say for instance all 10 questions for one individual user) ? If yes, can each these individual results be presented in a graph/bar/chart? Can they be shared, downloaded or sent via email? Thanks.

You can get the results of each individual survey but not by user. Since it isn’t require a registration the votes are absolutely anonymous. At the moment you can see the global results on the graph and it is not possible to share, download or sent via email.

I don’t clearly understand the issue. Yes, when you insert the shortcode to the page/post (or use global survey) all of the users see the same poll. You can hide the survey for users who already filled, it is recognized by cookies. (optional setting on admin)

Sorry, it is my bad, it was only an option in the first version, but now it is the default. There is no sense to display the same survey for the users who already filled out, so now it has to be displayed just once for those.
You can also use the shortcodes to include a survey to a post/page, then you can uncheck the Global Survey checkbox.

Don’t use the global option and the shortcode for the same survey at the same time. If you fill out the survey, is it displayed again?
I use only lock screen. In post i put a shortcode and when i click f5 to refresh i have the same survay…every time
We misunderstood each other. When you put the survey to a page, you want the users fill out, right? Therefore it is always popped up for the visitors UNTIL they filled out.
To display the survey just once for the user without filling out is not a feature at the moment, but I’ll considering to add it in the next release.

I run a movie site, and each movie is a post,
is it possible to setup a fixed survey like: Do you like the trailer / How are the actors / etc, and apply it on each post?
meaning each post will get it’s on survey, like the latest TMNT 2014, will get it’s own survey id,

Hi, I have a pre-sale question.
I really like this plugin, however, the survey that pops up has buttons but between the buttons are transparent sections where you can see the site behind it. Can the plugin be set to have a nice white (or any colour) box and smaller buttons so that this transparent effect is removed?

The plugins gives you almost the total control of customization except the space between the elements.
Possible to set the colors, border-radius, font styles and many other values.
The padding between the elements can be disabled by removing two lines from the plugin’s CSS file (modal_survey.css):
- remove margin: 10px; on line 15
- remove border-spacing:10px 10px; on line 9
I can do it for you, if you have difficulties with that.

Currently it is not a feature at the moment.
The aim of this plugin to create a quick survey on your website with exact answers.
The users can vote on this survey without registration, therefore it could be difficult to track the answers with text options and can be spammy. This is the main reason why I’m not implemented this option into the plugin yet.
