I am very happy with this plugin.. But before I’ll install it I need to know if the votes can be hidden for visitors. Is that possible?
No. But it can be with some modifications.
I like this plugin but there are a few bugs of it. -Users with the same IP Addresses cant vote the videos, they can vote when they change their IP addresses. -Users can vote more than once when they hide their IP Addresses. I think it would be more reliable if user id has been used instead of IP Addresse. -If vote button has been pushed over and over, its possible to use thousands of votes. (Flood) -I would like to be able to use Vimeo videos instead of Youtube videos because of ads and the other videos have been seen at the and of the contest videos.
It is not a bug. Checking vote by IP adress is defense against frauds. Example one man who register more user profiles can vote twenty even more times. So thats bad right? Yes i want add Vimeo videos, but creating apps is not my primary work, so i do not have time for biggest changes right now.

I purchased your plugin before 2 hours, I menage to set up everything except comments, my problem is that same comments from main gallery videos shows up when I open some video from gallery, I want to set up that comments be separated by each video, is it possible? its very important that users can comments on each video… once again thanks for your time!
In next version will be added possibiliti to add Disqus comments for each video. I hope next version comes out in april

Yes. It happens when WP theme have superior CSS or when WP theme have very serious html errors. I tested this plugin on 30+ themes but Wp themes are thousands various versions and lots of them have html errors….

Yes. I tested this plugin on 35 themes like every of my plugins. So i can say Yes but if your theme or other your plugin have many html errors can be some small issues.

When you vote only your IP address is kept and other devices with the same IP adress can’t vote, but the system does not work as it should, you can give multiple votes with the same IP address.
If user_id is kept, the voting will be more reliable. Can you fix this?

Hi, I just purchased this plugin and am currently testing it out. One big issue has occured:
Users must sign up/log in to Wordpress in order to participate in this video contest. But if you are logged out/not a Wordpress-user, Wordpress gives you the message that “registring new users is not allowed at the moment”.
Which basically makes the plugin unavailable for the masses. Any knowledge/tips on this issue?

Nice work! Is it possible to switch off options of uploading videos/photos by the members? I thought I could use the plugin to create a page where visitors would vote for song videoclips thus creating some kind of a top 10 song chart.

I feel disappointed. I don’t such a change would cause too much trouble/work for the author of the plugin. In my opinion with such an option the plugin would gain more buyers. Now I have to look for something else. Bad for you.
Sorry. This is plugin for contest where you need identify winner. That is why must be participant registered and his/her email verifed.
You still don’t get it. If one plans NOT TO USE user upload function, then he DOES NOT NEED to identify winner because there is NO CONTEST but only VOTING. The name of the plugin does not necessarily mean it has to be a contest. You could just use for ranking without a prize.
Yes you are right it can be use that way. But primary function this plugin is contest so the plugin is set for the contest.
It could have secondary functions as well.

1. I have an SSL. It looks like your plugin removes the “s” from the https on the youtube links when you add a video. By removing the “s” it makes the site warn visitors that not everything on the page is secure. Where in your code can I add the “s” back into the links?
