No and i have two reasons for that. First – When you hosted videos on your site you’re the one who is responsible for videos copyright. Second – Videos are very large files so your web hosting can have some limits – Limit for upload size and limit for space and of course trafic limit, when people whatching video from your site. So it is better use services from Youtube

I get your point, just concerned because my usage for this plugin would be:

only I can upload videos, no user submitted videos

youtube/vimeo/twitch etc. has stupid rules when it comes to what audio you use in the video.

not to mention they have restrictions on what video content they allow
