hi there. i just visit your forum. is this plugin ajax based ?
Hi,
Yes, plugin uses jQuery and all communication during checkup of the purchase code is done through AJAX.

I just wanted to say that your last update improved the plugin even further and it is truly the most important part of my own help and support forum. I truly hope that your sales will improve over time as I haven’t found a plugin that comes even close to yours and hopefully others will see that too!

Thank you, I really appreciate that! Let me know if you have any suggestions for future versions.
Very handy plugin, thanks, please keep it up.
Thanks!
Due to the changes Envato made to their API (without any prior notice to developers), this plugin is no longer working. We have prepared quick fix until we get official solution from Envato, and once that happens we will release proper update to this plugin. Until that happen, fix is available here:
Hey,
great plugin!
Is there a way to remove a used purchase code from a user so that he does no longer have the access, and the code can be used again?
Thanks
Hi, thanks!
Right now no, since the purchase is not transferable according to Envato rules, this would be illegal and this way once the code is used, it prevents to be used again.
But, if you need this feature for test purposes, only way to do it is by removing codes from database directly.

Okay thanks.
Yeah just need it for testing. GLWS
If you have problems finding data in database, let me know.
Hey,
this is a amazing plugin.
Do you have plans on adding the ability to protect pages/sites the same way as forums?
- Edit: Okay i just saw that you have a own plugin for that. So i have to get them both.
Do they work fine together?
Thanks
Hi,
Separate plugin for that is already released: http://codecanyon.net/item/smart-content-nverify/6490729And it can work together with bbPress version and share user saved purchase codes for more convenient use.

Hey,
so does the other plugin also include the bbPress protection or do i need both plugins to protect pages/sites and forums?
Thanks
Because of different protection implementation, Content plugins will not work for bbPress forums. Both plugins are needed for posts/pages and forums, and they will share users purchase codes.

If I create a page with the bbPress shortcode “[bbp-topic-form]”, it creates a generic page where logged in users can open new topics. Since that page is a global page and outside the individual forums, the user has to select for which forum s/he wants to open a new topic via simple selectbox.
As of right now, your plugin does not extend to bbPress pages created via shortcode; therefore, users can create new topics without being asked for a license key first. Once the topic is created, bbPress opens the new topic in the corresponding forum and at that point, your plugin is asking for a license key in order to READ the new topic that has just been created.
But the topic should never have been created since the user doesn’t have a license key for the corresponding forum. Does that explanation make sense to you?
Hi,
Thanks for the purchase!
Pokugin hooks into bbPress actiona that displays topic or forum. Same set of actions should run regardless of the. ethod of integration. But, it is possible that bbPress shortcodes use something different than normal templates loop.
Right now you have problem with everything added by shortocodes or only form for topic outside of forums? I will test this and release update for the plugin.
Regards, Milan
So far, everything else seems to be working exactly as it should with the exception of the page created via shortcode “[bbp-topic-form]”. Other than that, great plugin!
I see what the problem is here. This shortcode shows list of forums, so topic is not displayed for any specific forum, so my plugin has nothing to go on to check if the form should be displayed. This type of form, with no forum specified will be hard to protect. I will check what kind of control can be made for such case.
I understand what you’re saying.
It would be great if there is any way to check for a license the moment a user selects one of the listed forums and prevents the form from being submitted if no license can be provided.
I just want to avoid that users can create topics for forums that they don’t have access to after the topic has been created because they lack the license.
But I understand if that is not possible.
Unrelated: Are there any plans to include a front-end feature where users can verify multiple licenses at once instead of having to go to each respective forum for each individual license?
I have some ideas about this specific way of adding form, and will test it soon.
Also, there will be new panel on user profile where user can add purchase codes and view list of own codes already added.
Milan
That sounds great!!!
I have implemented protection for such form where forum is not specified, and new version will be released in the next day or two.

Great! Thank you for fixing it so quickly!
I hope you are having many sales since this is a great little plugin to use bbPress as a Support Forum for Envato Products!
Thanks! Let me know if you have any problems with it.

Just installed the plugin and it works perfectly. I particularly like the backend listing of all users with confirmed licenses; very helpful. 5 stars!
Great work, bookmarked for future use!
Good luck GDragoN!
Thanks!
Perfect plugin again, impressive work!
One question: Is access control global for all forums or can maybe one forum (out of 5 forums) set to have access control while other forums are freely accessable?
Thanks, Dave
Hi Dave,
Yes, you can control individual forums, and set items (one or more) for each forum, leaving some forums free to access as usual. You can check out video preview for the plugin, it has an example of assigning items to some forums only.
And, you can try live access to plugin forums on my website, and you will need to enter purchase code for assigned products.
Regards, Milan
Awesome, thank you!
Just used on your support forum and works perfectly fine!
And I can see in the plugin control panel that you have registered purchase code for Smart Admin Tweaks. All users with codes are listed so you can have a nice overview of all codes and registered purchase.
