Sorry its related to your plugin, i wanted to say is it possible in your plugin that we can send only options quantity in cart instead of overall product quantity.
There isn’t anything that will let you deviate from showing the product quantity in WooCommerce. You can show the option quantity as well but you cannot just delete the product quantity.
hi, is it possible to add product (variation) specific contracts/terms/age confirmation checkboxes to the checkout page? Thanks and all the best.
This plugin is for the product page only, not the checkout page.
Hi, I have a problem despite having a valid purchase code I can’t register on your site for support. Can you help me? I have a small problem with your plugin.
You can email me via my profile page.
I’ve purchased this already but I wanted to ask a question. Is there a way so that if I add a product option. That it doesn’t times by the actual woocommerce product quantity selected? For example. I’m ordering a food product but I want to order bags with it. So I select 5 bags (product options), but then I select 3 of the food product. Currently, if I do that it will now count those bags as 15 (5×3). So I was wondering. Is there an option with your plugin that will ignore the actual quantity from WooCommerce so I can choose whatever WooCommerce amount I want but keep the product option the same as I select? Thanks.
That is possible only when you set the option to be a Fee, in which case WooCommerce will attach to the Order, not the product and will display it in the subtotals section, not the cart.
I see now. Thanks!
I want to allow my customer to choose various options or packaging a product is available on my website from a drop-down menu on the shop page, category page, or home page and add them directly to the cart. As of now using product variations, the add to cart button is replaced by the select option button. Can this plugin solve this problem? I can’t find any tutorials or documentation of this product. I hope this plugin has it.
No, you cannot use the plugin to have variable product being added to the cart. This plugin is only for creating addons to the product.
When I try to update the plugin, this is the error i get -
Plugin could not be activated because it triggered a fatal error.
Fatal error: Cannot redeclare THEMECOMPLETE_EXTRA_PRODUCT_OPTIONS_SETUP() (previously declared in /var/www/wp-content/plugins/woocommerce-tm-extra-product-options-1/tm-woo-extra-product-options.php:44) in /var/www/wp-content/plugins/woocommerce-tm-extra-product-options/tm-woo-extra-product-options.php on line 44
This suggests that you have multiple plugin instances active. Please open a support ticket to troubleshoot this.
I have responded to your support topic about this.
How can I reduce the space between the checkbox and label? It’s too wide, and I can’t seem to find the correct element to change the width of the cell holding the checkbox.
Design issues are best to be dealt with your developer as they are affected by other plugins and the theme. By default there isn’t any wide space in the placement you are referring to. See for example the demo site at https://epo.themecomplete.com/product/contratto-di-locazione/
Hi there, i have following problems: first, it shows that there is an new update, but when i press the button it say’s “An error occurred while updating WooCommerce TM Additional Product Options: The package could not be installed. The package does not contain any files.” how can i fix this?

Hi there, I have used your plugin for years and it works great! A customer has just thrown a spanner in the works though and I am after your help. Essentially my client wants to have a product that is for quote only (no value outputted) however the requirements are sent. I have setup YITH Request A Quote however it now shows a Add to Cart button and a Request a quote button. How can I disable the add to basket button within your options. I have tried some plugins that allow you to remove the by now button per product however this disables your form completely which is not ideal. Would be great to have the option to disable the add to cart button on a per product basis and this would fix compatibility with this popular Yith plugin. Thank you and keep up the great work.
I’m afraid that we cannot help in this matter at. The plugin doesn’t disable the add to cart button, there isn’t such functionality. For quote or wish-list plugins you will have to ask their developers to add compatibility as due to the way these plugins work we cannot add compatibility from our end.
Hello,
I see lot of people have issue with AJAX, can you tell if this plugin can work with this one https://wordpress.org/plugins/woo-ajax-add-to-cart/ ?
Cause I noticed that all product options are added to cart even if not selected (when using this plugin).
I cannot tell you beforehand if it works or not I’m afraid. The issues people have with ajax plugin are because some of them work incorrectly, meaning they either don’t post all of the form data to the server or the don’t distinguish between disabled form elements.
Hello, since the latest update the products in the cart have the price €0,00. The total at the bottom is the right price, but why is the price next to the product free. Is there an option that I have to select to show the price with every option?
I have no such issue on my end nor any other similar reports. Please open a support ticket to troubleshoot your case.
Hello There, is there any option like in the field if I type 2-3 letters, it will auto suggest the possible options which are predefined from settings? Thanks!
No, there isn’t anything like that.
Hello, My cart doesn’t seem to update when adding a priced product addons. Check here: https://fashion.studioecommerce.com/clothing/uomo/felpe-uomo/felpa-personalizzata/ Have I set up something wrong? Thank you in advance for your response.

Hi,
This plugin looks really great. Thank you for your hard word. I have some pre-sale questions.
1. Can the plugin replicate the below configuration?
2. If required can you assist with configurations/customisation as per those links?
Thank you

The plugin isn’t a booking plugin, so you cannot use it for such purpose. You can create the form fields but I cannot answer in general about functionality, you will need to be more specific.
Question regarding Magento 1.9.x Import… We have 2000 products that contain Magento product options. We are not satisfied with how WooCommerce is converting these Magento Options to Variations. If we import a Magento product that has 1 Magento option it sort of works in WooCommerce… but if the product has more than one option it doesn’t work as expected. We are using the Frederic Gilles Migration Tool to import Magento data and would like to know if it’s possible to use your Plugin to allow us to import all existing Magento product options, including pricing, into WooCommerce, via an import. Thank you!
No, it isn’t. This is plugin is only for creating addons to the product in WooCommerce, it doesn’t have anything to do with Magento or importing products.
Our thinking was if the product option data fields are created by your plugin the data could then be mapped and allow a transfer from Magento to WooCommerce during the import. Thank you for the quick reply… guess we saved $39 bucks.
Which product option data fields you mean? Obviously, anything that is created in Magento isn’t compatible in WooCommerce.
hello, thank you for the awesome plugin. how can i display de “new total” because when i make options with a surtain value, the price only appears in the cart and not on the product page. Thank you
By default there should be a final totals box if you didn’t disabled. Please open a support for anything more.
Is there any possebilety to return back to default? Because, when i reinstall the plugin, it remembers the settings.
No, re-installing the plugin doesn’t delete those settings. Just go to the plugin settings->General tab->Final total box and set it there. Also, make sure that the totals is actually on the page by going to the plugin settings->Display tab->Placement and making sure that the “Totals box placement” setting is correct.
It still doesnt work. I set the product price to 0$ then a want to add option prices. In the Cart is the price changed, but the total price on the product page ist changig. whats can i do?
The please open a support ticket. This should have worked.
Hi. after I update to 5.0.12.2, the global options is not working properly. The global options always shows in all product that have variable/attributes even when I not assign them to any products. For simple product is working fine.
Please open a support. I don’t have an issue on my end or similar reports.
The new version of the plugin interface is excellent – very clear with the colour coded sections! I have a question about using ‘Required’ fields though:
When someone tries to add a product to the cart without filling in a required field, they get redirected to the top of the page where it shows an error message with “XXX is a required field”. Is there any way to add a red outline to each field that was missed, or at least change the position of the error message so it appears above the ‘Add to Cart’ button?
Sending the customer right to the top of the page is a bit jarring and with longer product options sections they might have trouble finding the missed sections.
The error message is attached to the field. If you have multiple fields you will see the error message change positions. When a field has an error the only only other thing that is added is the tm-error css class to the actual field.
Hi there, thanks for your response, but I don’t see any error messages attached direct to the fields – all I get is the WooCommerce errors at the top of the page.
I don’t see an extra tm-error css on each missed field either.
The fields are conditional and only show when the previous sections are completed – will this affect it?
If you mean that you see the error after the product is submitted to the server that this means that you don’t have the inline validation enabled in which case all we can do is echo an error message via the WooCommerce messaging system which is what you are getting apparently.
Can you tell me how to enable inline validation please, as I can’t see the option anywhere in the Settings section.
You need to have the “Enable validation” found at the plugin setting->Global tab active and the options to be inside the product form, not outside.
Okay, I already have the “Enable Validation” option turned on, but I don’t know how to tell if my options are “inside the product form”? I currently have “Extra Options Placement” set as “Before Cart Form”.
That means outside the form obviously. Set it to the default “Before add to cart button”.
Ah yes, I didn’t realise I had changed it from the default. It seems to work properly now. Many thanks.
I am doing a new woocommerce website https://shoptotallyblind.com/product/2-5-fauxwood-pure-white-and-silk-white/ . I have added a few product variations. So I have a drop-down for height and width and price is great as per the price set in that variation. The requirement is, I want the user to enter custom input for width and height of their house window something very similar to http://www.tbcoverings.com/products/faux-wood/18/
Is this functionality possible using this plugin?
Let’s say if I have a price of $5 for window width 24 inches, $8 for window width 28 inches, $12 for window width 32 inches. Now if the user inputs the window width as 27 -⅜ Inch So price should appear as $8. And if user input window width as 29 -⅜ Inch then the price should appear as $12. I have a price grid for different combinations of height and width. Here is the price grid link https://shoptotallyblind.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/06/price_grid.png
You cannot compare sites that don’t use the same eCommerce software. The site you wan’t to replicate isn’t in WooCommerce and doesn’t even replicate a variable product like the one in your site. I don’t think that you can use a variable for something like that.
While the plugin has a math formula price with you can use to make calculations like the ones you want, this is only true for the options created with the plugin and not directly for the product or variation price. What this means is that you can create the width and height text boxes and multiply them, but the result can only be attach to another option created with the plugin, if that makes sense.
Actually I am redesigning that old website using WordPress /woocommerce so I need to find a solution for this. So is it possible to achieve this functionality with this plugin math calculations through the options creations in the plugin?
Also, I have 4 different products with different price sheets. Is there any restriction on the number of options? Can I set options with conditional logic or math formula to get the required pricing as per the height, width input entered by the user?
Also Is there any refund if this plugin doesn’t fulfill my requirements.
- I told you want what you can do regarding this matter. You can create options for width and height and have the calculation result as a price in another option.
- I don’t understand the question. If you mean restriction in the number of options overall that would be in conjunction with the computer that creates and the options or is viewing the site.
- Refunds are possible only when the product isn’t working as described, not because you wanted the plugin to do something that it doesn’t.
Video screencast for better explanation https://www.loom.com/share/d8659e3d5c654df98f7819e38c8faa46 . Can you please watch this and have your feedback on this. Also What I want to know from you in is there any restriction on number of conditional logic in back end.
I thought that I have explained that part before. No, you cannot use the plugin to directly manipulate the product price like you want. You can only manipulate option prices.
Greetings Author!
I would like to ask, that is there any way to overwrite default woocommerce product quantity to Your plugin options quantity? Same as you have option in plugin to overwrite woocommerce product price,
Thanks
There isn’t anything in the plugin towards that direction I’m afraid.
i’m not asking about redirection, i asked is there any way to overwrite options quantity with woocommerce product quantity? i want to see option’s quantity in cart? but now my woocommerce product quantity is going in cart. so is there anyway to overwrite quantity of options to product? like there is an option to overwrite final price to product price. Thanks
I didn’t say anything about redirection. I told you that isn’t isn’t anything in the plugin towards that direction, meaning what you want to happen. The plugin doesn’t affect the product quantity at all in such a way.
