Hi, this is a presale question. If I install your plugin in three different websites, do I need to be logged in to all of them to reply to users? Is it possibile to have the chat show in multiple websites and receive all the question in a single place?

Unfortunately, you should install LC on each website you want to use chat widget and use their own chat console separately.
There is a trick to use single console. However, you will be limited to 100 user connections for all your 3 websites instead of 100 user connections limit for each of them.

After I have tested your demos, I would like to buy your plugins for my wordpress website.

1. Your plugins’ fee is $75 for unlimited website?
2. Will it be updated for live time?
3. If in the future I decide to remove your plugins from my website, can I remove it completely from it? Will it affect other functionalities of my website after removal?

Let me explain:
- You can install LC on unlimited websites with Unlimited license ($75). However, don’t forget that we will provide premium support for your only registered domain (one domain only) even tough you can install and receive free updates on unlimited websites
- Further updates are free. You might want to purchase extensions (like visitors extension) for each domain, which aren’t included with the original package
- Yes! LC uses only 2 rows in wp_options table. The rest of data is stored in Firebase

There is no direct option to keep chat box open or custom auto-messages yet. LC is open source. You can customize it the way you want. It is up to your JavaScript and PHP knowledge. Here is developer documentation: http://medium.com/screets
Besides, we have already started working on LC 3.0 which has custom in-app messages. So you will be able to throw messages to your visitors appearing on the top of chat button.

Hello,
I just finally update to the latest version of LC Unlimited plugin. All is working accept the menu item which would popup the chat box. I used this “scx-shortcode-chat-btn” in the wordpress menu “CSS Classes (optional)” field to have the chat box popup. But since update to LC Unlimited the popup does not work from the menu anymore. How can I simply get this functionality back?

Normally you can initiate chat with simple HTML code. However, it is a little different than just adding a CSS class. Here is the example code:

As you can see, you also need to add data-action attribute.

I purchased Live Chat Unlimited, installed it on root domain, works excellent.
But when i try to install it to the subdomain and try to activate it on Screets API page, it says that my licence is valid for the main domain version only and for subdomains I need new licence. But it clearly says: Install on unlimited domains on your sales page, so I belive subdomains are also included?? And I can not add any new domains to it.. Can you please help?

Ok, I have also managed to set everything up and your plugin chat button appears on the subdomain too, but it is unclickable. I mean, nothing happens when i click on it. How can i solve it?

For now, don’t worry about creating new API keys for your other domains. You should only register your primary domain you want to get premium support by Screets.
LC plugin will ask you to get new Screets API keys for your other domains in the future. Until that time, you don’t need to do any further actions.
About clicking issue
It seems like you’ve missed something or copy/pasted Firebase api information incorrectly while configuring your real-time chat options. No worries! We can check if everything setup properly and make it work for you.
You will want to:
1. Create temporary admin user with support@screets.io from your WordPress admin panel and send user credentials to support@screets.io with this your Screets API key. So we can follow your issue.
2. Go to your Firebase project dashboard:
- Find Project settings (click “cog” icon)
- Click “Users and permissions”
- Find and click “Add member” button
- Add our email: support@screets.io
- Select role as “Owner”
- And click “Add member”
We will do the rest for you and let you know by email.

- All chat transmission is located on google servers (Firebase database) which makes chat is real-time and doesn’t use almost any CPU usage from your server. It is your google account and we don’t have any access to your database
- LC works with WordPress and you can show up chat box on specific pages if you want (instead of whole website). And visitors can start chat without requiring login

Let us explain:
- You will want to create a free firebase account which has usually enough space for normal websites.. 100 user connections, 1GB chat data storage, 10GB bandwidth which is huge for chat transmissions (see more: https://firebase.google.com/pricing/)
- LC doesn’t have pre-chat form already. You will want to click “Online mode” on the demo page and see how chat is working. What you see is actually offline form and it comes disabled by default already
- Yes. When all operators are offline, LC throws offline form if you activate it.. By default, it shows up collector card which appears just after a visitor starts chat to collect user info like name, email, phone.. which is new approach for chats.

Question: once an operator takes a chat is there any way to change this chat to other operator.
Let’s say that Operator-1 starts a chat with a web visitor, is there any way to allow to Operator-2 to continue with the chat. Sort of moving the same chat between operators.

Do you have to install the program into EVERY website you want to use the live chat on, or can you install it in one domain and re-use the live chat code across other websites and disable certain sites you don’t want it on remotely from from original domain? That would be cool if it does have that

can i change firebase to onesignal

No, because they’re two different services.
As far as we know, OneSignal is just a notification service. However, Firebase provides us from user authentication to real-time database which are used by LC for chat transmissions and anonymous and private user authentications.
