No, it is not. There is no reason for that. Imagine transferring the video from Pet contest to Selfie contest. It just makes no sense

Another features: Allow us to create a contest which will use the winner of each category selected or another contest selected. For example, we want to create a contest for each city of the country and a national contest will only have the 1st video of each city contest. Thanks
I’ve just finished translation for one more plugin in WordPress repo, and ready to translate Video Contest Plugin to Russian. Only if such contribution is welcome, of course.
Additional requests for more security and flexibility, and also they will be needed a lot for my contest 
1. Rating option
When enabled the option changes simple Vote button to Rate (for example stars ☆☆☆☆☆). Administrator choose this Option (Vote or Rate) for each contest.
2. Premoderation for Rates/Votes.+ Users’ descriptions/comments for their rates/votes
When Premoderation is enabled, Administrator sets additional option: Require comments(descriptions).
If Require comments option is enabled, then users have to write comment(reason for their rate/vote) after they press Vote/Rate button to confirm their vote/rate.
In Admin Premoderaton panel there’s list of rates with user comments, so moderator can read every comment before approve/decline the vote or rate.
These comments (descriptions) are for administrator/moderator only and are nor visible in the front end.
If Rate option is enabled, Administrator can set a treshhold rate value when description becomes required. For example, the descripton is required only for rates less than three stars inclusive (★★★☆☆ and less). So users must have a really good reasons to rate videos with low marks.
This will save contestants from twisting votes and unreasonly low ratings, and will help to find the real winner.
Such type of votes/ratings validation is used in a big Russian Citizen Initiative National Award (premiagi.ru) and works very well for 2 years already, so this idea is not new and is tested in real life.
P.S. It may be optionally used as one more layer of security (10th).
P.P.S. These features can be added to Photo Contest Plugin as well.

And one suggestion more, to easily identify bots attacks – statistics charts of activity based on how much votes were made in particular period of time in general and for any video in particular. Visual information may help us a lot in the holy war against vandals and cheaters

1. Has the Video Contest WordPress Plugin been tested with WPML? I don’t see WPML in compatibility section…
2. I don’t want users to upload their videos, is there an option to disable this feature? I didn’t find it in Demo.
3. Will this plugin work correctly with DIVI theme? I see some options in Demo such as menu which I think may not go well on mobile devices. Is it possible to turn the contest plugin’s menu off completely and use links in WordPress native menus instead?

Hi, Please add one more layer for better (even great!) security: check if user were watching video no less then milimal period of time which is set by admin in module settings, before he can vote. So if user didn’t start video by clicking play button and wasn’t watching it for some time then he couldn’t leave his vote.
It would become a hard and heavy brick in the great wall from cheaters, spammers, and bots!
And it will be more fair for contestants, they get more views for their videos, not only votes.

Yes, I know, thank you. I have already read all documentation for your good plugin I could find. I suggest just one layer more. A thick layer, hard to penetrate, which makes users actually watch videos, not just press Vote button. It’s good for users behavior, it’ll make them stay longer on the contest page. I’m trying to convince you to consider this suggestion. I’d be happy if you make it, and I’m sure it will add one good reason more to purchase the plugin for many people, not just me.
By the way, 9 is a nice number. Just look at this:

For example, admin sets that user can vote for a video only after 10 secunds watching. Then Vote button isn’t clickable until script gets player.getCurrentTime() == 10

No. It works for everybody (no issue reported). But sometimes email goes to spam folder, especially if is from WordPress and has a link (like verification email). This is the problem with all WordPress emails. It depends on your spam folder.

Listen if you are only one with this issue just try (when is traffic low) to disable all plugins which can affect somehow an email. Or try to disable all plugins and turn on them one by one. All emails are sent through WordPress core using original and official WP function wp_mail. There is no function for that in my plugin. So only think what can be wrong is some email filter in some plugin OR theme.
Sends emails fine when “user must be registered to vote” is enabled, I get the emailright away (not in spam folder) with login details just fine. Just doesn’t send an email when verifying votes is enabled (tried 3 different email addresses). But, I’ll try what you suggested.
