FAQ

“I want to add special characters to a file or template..”

1. Open the FLA file which contains the text for your file.
2. Click on the text box which contains the text and click EMBED in the properties panel.
3. There, select all characters you wish to include, and click OK.
4. Press CTRL +ENTER to compile a new SWF file and replace the old one.
5. Save and quit.

If the text is read from an external TXT or XML file, complete these steps as well -

6. Open the TXT or XML file which contains the text.
7. Click File -> Save As.
8. Save the file as a ANSI format instead of UTF -8.
DONE !

One thing to mention as well, some font families do not contain all special characters, so if you followed these steps, and you still cannot see the characters, Follow these steps -

9. Open the FLA file which contains the text.
10. Click on the text box, and in the properties panel, change the font family to another one.
11. Press CTRL +ENTER to compile a new SWF file.
12. Save and quit!

If there is a bug within the file, and it does not work as described in the description, I will fix it. If what you want is for the file to do something new, and what is not listed in the description, it is a customization. I will try my best to point you to the right direction, but will not be able to help you furthermore unless its a freelance job. Please see below under the freelance section for more information.

First, before anything else, please understand that the files throughout the ENVATO community are so cheap because they are sold as stock files, hundreds of times. Freelance work is only sold once, so be aware that it will cost more. My prices are at a reasonable rate, and I am also available to do both at an hourly rate, and a fixed rate per project.

Just send me a descriptive email of what you would like done, and I will respond to you as soon as possible with a price and more information..
