YrMail - Simple Mailer

This web application is developped by YrWeb. The main idea was to build an easy to use app that can send professionnal email templates.

Actually, most of newsletter systems embed a WYSIWYG and sometimes a way to template some newsletters. With YrMail, you can skip that.

Professionnals newsletters are not built in a WYSIWYG !

Because of diversity of mail client (web based or not), professional templates are built on certain rules. Theses rules are so hard to keep with any WYSIWYG …

Upload your template

Upload your template as a ZIP containing the html file, an alternative text file if any and images like in this sample.
Two variables are enough to personalize templates : the “words” #insert_name_here# and #insert_email_here# will match the name and email respectivelly in both altrnative file and html file.

Save your work

Each step you will do will be saved. No database is required, it’s based on PHP session system.

What’s more ?

• Easy way to add recipients by a textarea
• Full AJAX
• UTF8 ready
• No PHP framework used. Just mail() function of PHP
• Image path replacement : let images in relative path, URL will be replaced by full path

System requirements

You MUST have the ZIP extension enabled in your PHP configuration : see http://php.net/manual/zip.installation.php
Check that the “sent” folder is both READ /WRITABLE (chmod 777).
And… that’s all.
