Hi there,

Sorry, but live preview is not available

Thank you for the heads up! Looks like I had some server issues. It should be up now.

You can see the code on a production site there, but if you’d like a more in-depth preview, let me know and I’ll help you with that.

grandslampools.com?

Yes, it is installed there. Do you have a specific question regarding the site or the plugin?

Does this work with universal analytics?

brettfarrow

The current version does not, but I’m working on an update which will have be compatible with universal analytics.

brettfarrow

I’ve finished updating the plugin to include support for both Universal Analytics and Classic Analytics. In fact, it works even if both are installed at the same time.

im not really clear as to what this plugin does or how it works?

brettfarrow

It keeps track of how far each user scrolls down each page. It does this by linking up and recording the info into Google Analytics.

it only works with conversions?

where in analytics would i see the info

brettfarrow

It actually works with any page view, not just those involving a conversion. After installation, the scroll info will be tracked under the Content section, under the option called Events.

confirmed—last question

its all based on the analytics code? no additional resources to the pages, right?

brettfarrow

It relies on the analytics code as well as jQuery (which is included in WP by default), but it also loads a single script file that’s 2.5 KB so that it can count the scrolls and send the info to GA.

And let me know if you have any other questions or concerns, and I’ll keep doing my best to help.

And I made one mistake on my previous comment, it’s now called the Behavior section, not Content. I used the old name out of habit.
