Is there a way to customize the single team member view instead of using the default post? I’d like to remove the sidebar, comments are closed thing, etc, etc.

Hi strillogy,

Congratulations for choosing this plugin and thanks a lot for using it. With regards to your concern, the plugin is using the single.php theme template. You have to create single-team.php and post the code from your full width template. Thanks

Hi, I purchased and installed this plugin. The problem is that when I try to activate it, wp-admin and front-page remain blank and nothing works. I have the “Campus” template. What I can do?

Hello again, I have a new problem.

When I insert the shortcode in a page, tthe page does not keep the custom fields, and displays the sidebars and comments as you can see here:

How I can fix it?

Thanks!

Hi jportilla,

Just checked the site and it seems to be themes templating issue. I tried to login using the login info you’ve send before but it’s not working. Can you please send it again so that I can check the page template? Thanks

Thanks.

Hi! I’m thinking of buying this but am wondering is there a way to bulk import data, e.g. upload csv? Thanks!

Hi atovell,

Thanks a lot for the plugin interest. With regards to your concern, I’m afraid there is no option for import or bulk import. Thanks for the suggestion though.

Hi

I have purchased and installed the plugin and generated a shortcode. However, the page only displays the text and no photo or social icons. All looked fine on the preview:

Hi jonobrennan,

Congratulations for choosing this plugin and thanks a lot for using it. With regards to your issue, the ‘team’ slug was already reserved to post type so you can’t use it on the page. You have two options to fix it :

1. Change the page slug on where you put the shortcode to anything aside from ‘team’ 2. Goto Team > Settings and scroll down to Advance Settings and change the ‘Slug’ options then update the permalinks.

Let me know if you have any other issues. Thanks

How do I make the member posts searchable within my site?

phpbits

Hi allpow,

Congratulations for choosing this plugin and thanks a lot for using it. With regards to your concern, by default the post type was registered as excluded from search. If you can send the website link and login info using the form on my profile page, I’ll be very happy to change it on your copy. Thanks

Only on the page where I have the team shortcode, my menu disappears for the mobile device (it’s ok for desktop display). Do you have an email that I can send url and any other infoto so you can have a look? Thanks.

Hello, I love your plugin, but it doesn’t seem to be working on the hosting environment of WP Engine, as can be seen on the install I’ve got here: http://attentive.wpengine.com/about/our-team/ i even created a clone of the site, but reverted to the 2012 theme and deactivated all other plugins: http://attentive.staging.wpengine.com/about/our-team/ this has debugging turned on so you can see the issues that are happening: Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in /nas/wp/www/staging/attentive/wp-content/plugins/wp-meet-the-team-shortcode-v2/meet_the_team.php on line 227

WP Engine’s server specs: http://phpinfo.wpengine.com/

I’ve got a clone of the site at my bluehost hosting which seems to work just fine: http://attentive.ilikegray.com/about/our-team/

so, the issue seems to be something about your plugin that requires certain settings.

Thank you for your assistance.

Hi,

Congratulations for choosing this plugin and thanks a lot for using it. I have tested it on wpengine and one of my buyers doesn’t have any issue on it on wpengine. If you can send the website login info using the form on my profile page, I’ll be very happy to check it. Thanks

Hi, is there a way our team can log in and fill in their own profile, add photo and social contact details? We have a lot of people on team so letting them take care of their own page would be awesome.

phpbits

Hi,

Thanks a lot for the plugin interest. With regards to your concern, this plugin uses custom post type so as long as your team has admin account, they can add/edit the details. Thanks

Cheers, phpbits

Does the plugin also generate a page for each person so that when a link is clicked users are taken to that individuals page?

phpbits

Hi,

Again, thank you for the plugin interest. With regards to this question, yes it is creating individual team profile page. Thanks
