This is what im getting:
http://60.234.221.56:85/Hello,
Thanks for your purchase!
It is working properly for me on your test page. Did you figured the issue out?
yes its working on latest chrome but unable to get it working on IE10. Please tell me what other code do i need
It is working me under IE10 after I allowed to use my custom location.
I purchased this a while ago, and managed to get it up and working but I have four weather examples per page but only a maximum of three weather forecasts display, I tried to add the premium key but then the widget stopped working all together just waiting for the weather message! I did try sending you a message over a week ago but I haven’t heard anything back? How do you get all the weather mini widgets working at the same time rather than just two or three? Do you have a premium account? or are you caching data?
Hello,
Thanks for your purchase!
Where did you send us your message? We didn’t receive any emails from you (at least with this username) and we always responding to every comment here.
Anyway, it is a restriction in their new API, you can’t request multiple weather data at the same time. I’m not sure about a premium account, they don’t mention this in their description and documentation.
Thank you for your swift reply! Well I wouldn’t say it’s much of a weather “slider” if you are limited in requests to the server…can you add in a method of delaying additional requests to the server? Premium account info is on their homepage http://developer.worldweatheronline.com/ but the key didn’t seem to work…i don’t know if the problem is their end or with the widget?!?
This doesn’t affect the other locations in one slider. It is only present when you are inserting multiple widgets to the same page. We will try to find a way to workaround this. It isn’t our limitation, it is a restriction in their new API (the old one didn’t have this). Their documentation doesn’t say anything from this restriction with a premium account I far as I can see. If you could send us your API key, we can take a look why it isn’t working. You can send us a private message from our CodeCanyon profile page, see the “Email kreatura” on the right side.
Hi, bought the script and it works great!
Just one question. Is it possible to disable the “Enter your custom location” pop-up?
Sorry, already found it..
working on latest chrome but unable to get it working the geolocation feature on IE10. Please tell me what other code do i need
Hello,
Thanks for your purchase!
Did you allowed the plugin to use your current location? It will prompt you when it’s needed. Please show us your site, we can’t help you if we can’t check what’s wrong.
Here you go: http://60.234.221.56:85/
Hello,
As far as I can know, my colleague has already answered your question. It is working fine for us. Here is a screenshot: http://cl.ly/image/0t2R3u17003LYou need to allow to the browser to use your current location, after that, it is working fine for us.
Hi,
I’m considering to buy your excellent widget, but I have a couple of questions; does it has language options? I was wondering if it’s possible to translate (to Spanish) and furthermore set size (initial width or height) to be displayed in 200px x 40px area; but still remain responsive.
Thanks in advance.
Hello,
Yes, you can translate the entire plugin, including the admin user interface if you want.
You can set any size to the slider you want between 240×200 and 1300×600 pixels. These two limitations required because of the graphics elements.
What is the markup difference for xhtml?
Hello,
Thanks for your purchase!
The difference between HTML5 and XHTML doesn’t affect the plugin’s markup, it is the same in both cases.
Hello!
I recently purchased WeatherSlider and haven’t had any luck getting it up and running… I’ll admit that I’m not a website guru, but I do understand HTML and Javascript and work with computers… However, I’m not entirely sure what you/I would need to diagnose what the issue is.
My website is FBCwaldport.org; and I’m trying to replace the wunderground widget with yours. I setup this page in case you can see what it is: http://www.fbcwaldport.org/?page_id=1048
Both as shortcode or a widget literally nothing appears…
Thanks in advance, Casey
Hello,
Thank you for your purchase!
The problem is that your theme is loading two instances of jQuery frameworks. You should remove the older one. If you cannot do this, we can help you but in this case we will need to have a temporary wp-admin access to your site. You can send it via private message from our profile page.
How do I move the example.html to the root level? I’ve got it down to the point where it works except it does not load the images. So I’m assuming its coded somewhere in your js or css that points the folder //example/.
I was able to move all the images/js/css to their root respective folders but I can not move example out of the folder “example” without it working. Basically I want to create an index.html at the root level but I can not. Does this make sense?
2nd question • How do I control the elements. I need to move the black box containing the info up into the graphics. I gotta place these contents into a 350×260 frame. There is no user interaction if that helps (this is being displayed on a digital signage board)
Hi, This is by far the best weather widget!
One question. How do I change the unit? I need to use Fahrenheit instead of Celsius.
Thank you in advance.
Hello,
Thanks for your purchase!
You can change it in the WeatherSlider’s Javascript init code. Please check the documentation for the available properties and check the examples about how you can apply them.
Optionally, you can override this in the main Javascript file as suggested above, but if you update the plugin, your modifications will be overwritten.
Hu8035, in the weatherslider.kreaturamedia.jquery.js script you simply scroll all the way down and change metric to imperial. If you see a bunch of nonsense, you need to copy the uncompressed version over the condensed version.
And Kreatura you can ignore my 2nd question. I figured out how to move the elements in your CSS. I still do not know how to get example.html to work at the root level though… so weird.
Is there a way to have this auto-update or does it already? Meaning if it sits on a TV for 12 hours, will it update the weather say every hour?
Nevermind, finally figured it out. I had to drop the ../ in front of the directory in your .js script to find the folder to load the images.
I also found a way to update the script every 30 minutes. Thanks for a nice weather widget btw.
Hello,
Thanks for your purchase!
Glad to hear that you have figured it out. If you have any further questions, please let us know.
