Hi there is a way to trigger visual composer by users? so only administrator are able to switch to classic.

if no posible them eliminate the classic at all.

Hi, my custom grid is still not showing under the settings (see post from 2 days ago)...but somehow its all showing up nicely now. 1/1 and 1/2 or 1/4 1/4 1/4 1/4 are all showing within the correct widths. I DON ’T KNOW WHY THOUGH ?

I am trying to use the visual composer in combination with another great codecanyon plugin called “social content locker” by Tyler Quinn (http://codecanyon.net/user/TylerQuinn).

Unfortunately they do not integrate well.

As soon as I switch on the visual composer the “like buttons” to unlock the “hidden” content are not showing nicely in a row anymore. They look kind of fuzzy some moving up a little some down a little.

FURTHERMORE I can’t get the social content locker running nicely with the visual composer.

YES I can get just a normal text-box to lock (and unlock it by clicking eg the facebook like button)....but it does not seem to be working with other type of content….so a box filled with a eg google map shows up even though I am wrapping it with a “locker-code”!

FURTHERMORE I cannot get more than just one box to lock/unlock at a time. BUT I would like to “hide” for example an adress-box, a google-map box and a box with some links to further interesting sites all together. They should than ALL be shown when for example liking/sharing the site on FB or google+ or twitter.

For us users its always hard to tell on which site (plugin developers) some work would need to be done. I also wrote Tyler from Social Content Locker to explain my problem.

Maybe you could integrate a “SOCIAL LOCKER ” function into your plugin in the future…OR team-up with Tyler in order to integrate the two plugins!!!

It would be of great help and allow us users to easily design our pages and posts using the visual composer AND boosting our social media activity with the “Social Content Locker” plugin!

THAT WOULD BE HEAVEN ! haha

I bought this version since the Architectos version did not come with the maps, now that I have this version, there is no contact from option. Am I missing something?

Edit to my last question, Since I updated to 3.0 now the slide show in the Architectos wont work. I notice there is no page attribute template for contact for full page so the post comment will not appear. All I want is the Contacts page in your Architectos demo lol. I so not looking forward to takeing this apart. spent $60 with no luck and no tutorials to use your product.

Loving the plugin. One issue I’m having is creating a simple colored text box. Is it possible to create a text box that has any color background? The message box is close but is not very customizable it doesn’t seem. Any advice?

Hi, when I add a tab to the tabs option, if does not let me edit it i.e. add text. The option simply is not there. Is this a bug in the new version or a bug with my site?

I just tried that on my site, and it didnt work. I got round it by pasting in the HTML on the normal editor but I need to do some more complex stuff, is there something obvious I am doing incorrect?

How can I insert a regular image? Also I need the caption to display!

Mixey – on getting a certain background color for a text block, you wrote:

-> I added the above css rule to the stylesheet, but how do you add an extra css class to a specific text block (what are the lines of code to add in the HTML section?) in this example?

I wish there was a way to search comments. Anyway, I bought a license for this awhile back. I am going to update to the current version but I was wondering, which version of Bootstrap do you use? 1.0 or 2.0? If not 2.0 is there a chance you will be updating to that version soon? Hi, I’m testing your plugin in a wordpress installation with SUBSCRIBE2 plugin installed, it send an email with the latest content to subscribers.

I’m havng some problem because the mail received from wordpress, have some added words/code like this:

The real content doesn’t have “1/3” If I check the code, “1/3” is part of the VC plugin….

Any suggestion?

Everything is shifted left.

Is there a quick way to rectify this layout problem?

Hi Bought Visual Composer. Tried it on seberal themes. Can’t get a blank page with just Visual Composer layout. Keep getting unwanted sidebars and comments etc still on the page cluttering it up. How do i get just a blank page to use Visual composer with? what theme are you using on your videos to do that? Please answer ASAP !!!

Hi! I am using nivo slider in both, the theme and vcomposer. I am trying to set nivo to fade transition instead of random efect, changin the default values in ”/plugins/js_composer/js/jquery.nivo.slider.pack.js”, but no changes at all. Could you please tell me how can I change the settings. Thanks & regards

This is a remarkable plugin! I’m so glad that you built it on top of standards like Twitter Bootstrap and jQuery UI. I’m also pleased to see that you are conditionally loading CSS and Javascript only as needed depending on which content blocks are active on a page. Thank you for the thoughtful way you developed VC. It integrates really well with existing themes which is difficult to achieve without adding a lot of extra overhead.

Where may I find the “advanced documentation” that explains how a PHP developer may extend Visual Composer?

My WordPress theme framework already includes Twitter Bootstrap. In my case, the fact that my theme’s Bootstrap variables may effectively theme the content Visual Composer publishes is one of the plugin’s greatest assets.

Can you verify that I’m on the right track… I want to modify the Visual Composer plugin so it no longer includes its own copy of Bootstrap but relies on the theme’s copy of Bootstrap instead.

I think I need to leave VC’s Bootstrap reference in the js_composer.php file since that is for wp-admin. But if I want to remove VC’s Bootstrap from the site’s frontend, it looks like I’d do so in the shortcodes.php file. Is this correct?

I’d like to suggest an addition to VC’s settings tab. It would be helpful to have the option to turn off VC’s copy of Bootstrap, so it doesn’t load on the frontend. That way, a theme developer that is already including Bootstrap with the theme wouldn’t have to edit the plugin code to achieve that, and it would be easier to maintain future plugin updates.
