Hello, I shall be glad if you let me understand the following pre-purchase queries.

1. Is the regular license valid for 1 year or lifetime?

2. Am I entitled to free support and updates after 1 year?

3. Can I use it on more than one site if I purchase the regular license?

Hi Bijit99,

Thanks so much for your interest in the Vision plugin.

As per your questions:

1. The regular license is valid for lifetime.

2. Yes unlimited free support included.

3. The license is only valid for a single website so additional license required for each site using the plugin.

Cheers :)

I use your plugin all the time. Read several days ago on wpmu that with the wp 3.9 coming in a month and the revitalized tinymce ed, that plugins that park in the editor area like yours may not work. Have you tried 3.9 beta with yours and how does it look? BTW, in your next upgrade if you add css3 accordions with all colors configurable; it would really be sweet!

Mark, Miami, FL

Hey Mark,

Thanks so much for reaching out to us and your continued support of the Vision plugin.

We’re aware of the new Wordpress 3.9 / TinyMCE 4.0 upgrade and we’ll be releasing an updated version of Vision plugin to ensure compatibility. We’re working on a few things at the moment so will likely be approx 1 week.

We’ll also for sure have a look at the accordions and work some magic.

Thanks :)

Hi Mark,

New version has been released.

Accordions are now built with CSS3 and can be styled to any color.

Cheers :)

Thanks a lot for bringing in the css3 accordions. I did install the 3.1 version today. Dumb question….I click accordions in the list; where is the css3 accordion with color picker located? Thanks! Mark

Hi Mark,

color picker is not available however we’ve changed to accordions to be controlled by CSS rather than images.

To create custom color simply enter some custom CSS into your wordpress theme and you’ll be all good to go. the exact location of this code will depend on the theme you’re using.

Here is a sample:

.vision-accordion dt {

Thank you :)

Hi, I have tested that Vision 3.0 it´s not compatible with the Launcheffect theme http://launcheffectapp.com/

Somebody has experienced the same problem?

Regards., Felix

Hey Guys, I’m finally getting around to Styling your Horizontal Tabs!

The CSS Sheet you provided is very useful. Took me a while to find it though. You may want to put a copy of it up on your FAQ Support Page for Vision.

/-----/ /* Tabs – Horizontal /-----/

.vision-tabs-horizontal { position:relative; margin-top:40px; font-size:13px; padding-top:10px; height:380px; margin:0; }

.vision-tabs-horizontal dt { float:left; margin-left:1.25%; margin-right:3.5%; cursor:pointer; font-weight:bold; }

.vision-tabs-horizontal dd { display:none; position:absolute; background-image:url(images/shortcodes/tabs-type2-BG.png); background-repeat:repeat-x; top:50px; padding:30px; margin:0 !important; }

.vision-tabs-horizontal dd.current { display:block; }

.vision-tabs-horizontal_arrow { position:absolute; top:38px; z-index:1001; width:28px; height:15px; background-image:url(images/shortcodes/arrow-up-2.png); background-repeat:no-repat; }

The thing is, you’ve gone with a HTML Table Structure, but don’t Tabs usually go with an Un-Order List Structure.

Anyway, you do have an update coming up and a super hot horizontal Tab would shore up you preeminence and put you miles ahead of everyone else.

Have you checked out what they’re doing with SVG these days?

Here’s a great example: http://css-tricks.com/svg-tabs-using-svg-shape-template/

I’ll probably get back to you pretty soon with a couple of Tab Styling questions.

Here’s the Page I was looking at in regards to the Usual Tab Structure and Styling.

Hi Shunyata,

Thank you so much for sharing these very helpful resources.

We’re currently working on some updates to our wordpress themes and internal support system but we will give Vision a whole bunch of love in the near future.

Cheers :)

• Re: the new update, is there a change log I can see?

• Also, will there be any shortcodes which are now obselete, or have been changed?

I’m running this plugin on a few sites.

Thanks :) Matt

Hey Matt, you beat us to the punch :)

We’ve just posted some info about the new update. Pls check out the comment below for all the details.

Specific to your question: all shortcodes have remained in-tact and none have gone obsolete. The accordion shortcode is now written with CSS3 so colors can be easily customized via code.

Wow, sounds awesome. You guys are rockin’!! Keep up the great work. Looking forward to the new version !!

Hi, love the updates and optimization. Way to go!

I’ve got 2 silly things happening on a page I’m testing out – http://em3.biz/intense-tab-test/.

1. For the vertical tabs it automatically adds spacing after the box – as shown in the first 3 tab boxes on the web page.

2. There’s a silly function happening to the 2 bottom horizontal tabs boxes where a chunk of space appears right below the tab and the content’s body. Having the tabs lay right on top of the box of content is where we want to get to.

You guys would be my hero for the week if we can quickly do a fix on tabs.

With deepest thanks in advance, Mary C.

Hey Mary :)

It looks like all tabs on the above URL are not coming from Vision Plugin. Have you perhaps switched to different plugin?

We’re unable to debug a 3rd-party plugin as we’re not sure how it’s built.

Please let us know how to proceed.

Thank you
