The plugin works fine but broke my themes display in IE7 and 8. I’m using the Bhinneka theme bought from themeforest, any help please?

Hi… Amazing plugin. really love it. But there is simple problem (I think). When I click the play button It first complete the buffering it mean it first download the audio and play it. I think this is not a good option. What i want I want to play it while its buffering. Is there any solutions?

Uber Audio begins playing audio tracks immediately if the browser supports HTML5 . If the browser doesn’t support HTML5 , I’ve built in a Flash fallback player that will buffer the full file before playing. At the moment, this is a requirement of flash. Fortunately, most newer browsers have HTML5 support. The IMPORTANT thing to note is that Uber Audio will play your audio files in MOST browsers which is a testimony to it’s flexibility for the web.

Hello, I’m looking forward to by your plugin and i have some questions.
- I want to use this to create 6 different playlists for 6 different pages. The ogg files are going to be large, about 120mb each. Is this going to work? (for html5 at least).
- which wordpress version / theme do you suggest?
Hi Vorriasg,
Yes, Über Audio will easily allow you to create as many playlists as you want and add them to separate pages even if they are large files. All files played back in the HTML5 support player will play immediately with virtually no loading time. Any browsers that don’t support HTML5 will play in a flash fallback player that will have to load the file before playing.
As far as Wordpress version recommendations; I always recommend the latest version of Wordpress.

Hi there. I really like the plugin and am about to buy, but had a question regarding rewinding a track.
Is there any way to grab the slider and listen to a particular part of the audio track over again? Is there a rewind feature at all besides beginning at the start of the track?

Hi George,
Yes, there is a rewind or jump to feature to the Über Audio plugin. Even though the progress bar is round you can select different places on that progress tracker and it will seek back to your desired position. You can see how it is done on the Über Audio video demo. I purchased this plugin a few weeks ago and had some issues when uploading files to the player. I keep getting the response “URL not valid” despite the manner in which I add the path. Now, I have noticed that a few of your clients have had the same issue BUT , you have not answered how to fix it. I think its great that you have built in a validation BUT I don’t need it! Could you please tell me how to disable the validation or how to get round it as the file URL ’s are very valid, no matter which way you look at them. I need to deliver this site by the end of the weekend, so a quick response would be much appreciated.

You can bypass the URL validation in the Uber Audio playlist manager by modifying the source of uber_audio.php (line 876) I would add “return true;” adter the static function “isValidUrl($url = null){“

There does not seem to be a line 876, just a closing bracket – Please could you show me where in this portion of code to return true:

I just added a new feature that allows the administrator to turn off the URL validation in the Uber Audio playlist manager.
This should solve the issue you are having with the URL validation.

How do I fix this? Currently it should be under the Moody Radio Interview title but is showing above everything. I also emailed a support ticket just in case. But I can’t get the player to be anywhere but at the top of the page.

I have just purchased and installed this plugging, but the button for inserting the player into a page or post is not showing in the wysiwyg window. I can only insert it as an widget.

Since support apparently does not exist, does anyone know why when I click a song in the playlist it wont start playing?
I can only play by pressing the play button and use the forward to skip through the songs to play…..

Did you read your comment? “I can only play by pressing the play button”. That is what the player is designed to do. Play when you press the play button. If you want to give me more details I can help you with your issue.

I want to be able to click on the ACTUAL song in the PLAYLIST and have it start playing like on your sample…..mine does not do that.
So if I have 10 songs I have to press the play button at the TOP and FORWARD to the 10th song to listen to it. I would like to be able to CLICK on the ACTUAL 10th song and have it play that way.

I seem to be getting a duplicate of the player when i embed it on a page using the shortcode.
I also cant position it anywhere on my page apart from in the top left hand side. Any ideas what’s going on?

Ideally I want to just place that into a player and when a visitor clicks on play they hear what is currently on the radio (via that live feed) is that something this can do?
Hi, I cannot get the plugin to install. When I upload, I get the “Are you sure you want to do this? Please try again.” message from Wordpress. I have attempted upload multiple times.
This sounds like a permissions issue with your directory rather then a plugin issue.
Please check your folder permissions.

Sometimes the player will move the next audio file in the playlist automatically and start playing, other times it does not. Is the player suppose to automatically move from one playlist entry to the other? If so, why would this process stop – user does not press any buttons not does page loose focus. I actually don’t mind it not moving from entry to entry but I would like the player to be consistent. Is there a solution? Why does it seem random?
