twitterFriends is an unobtrusive jQuery plugin that simplifies the creation of an interactive Following /Followers widget based on a user’s Twitter profile.

  • type – Determines which gets returned – a list of people you follow or people following you – (following / followers)
  • showToolTip – Show / Hide the tooltip – (true / false)
  • toolTipType – Determines where to show the tooltip – (tooltip / title)
  • toolTipText – Determines the content of the tooltip: user’s current status or username – (status / user)
  • toolTipAttachment – Determines the position of the tooltip: relative to the user or the mouse – (user / mouse)
  • buttonText – The text to appear in the button at the bottom of the widget – (eg: ‘Follow Me’)
  • noStyle – Turns off automatic styling leaving TwitterFriends 100% stylable via css – (true / false)
  • showAnimation – Whether or not the widget’s OnLoad animation – (true / false)
  • animateHeightDuration – Duration of the ‘height’ portion of the OnLoad animation – (750)
  • animateHeightEasing* REQUIRES the jQuery Easing Plugin * – Duration of the ‘height’ portion of the OnLoad animation – (eg: ‘easeInOutExpo’)
