Stripe Ads - Multi-site Text Ad Manager System

Short tags .. ug .. please use full php leadin, not all systems will tolerate short tags even if enabled in the php.ini.

Stripe Ads is a couple of years old. I just added it to Code Canyon. I’ll start the process of replacing the short codes and will let you know when it’s done.

The real server tolerates short tags XAMPP local doesn’t so can’t test easily (which is what I do with new stuff…

One other thing make the tables names stripeads_???? so that it can be used in a shared DB, just makes things easier than one appl per DB.

I have it displaying on my test site with a pull from the web, will tinker and then put it up will let you know and you can have a gander…

Nice idea! Can see this being useful. Im surprised the fixed position stripe is not used more for ads as it takes less page space and certainly draws the attention. As for short tags well that is easily fixed just use find and replace <? with <?php

One thing, I wonder – How long till be see this on all horredously designed hard sell salesletter type pages across the web with equally horendous choice of color and css i think it will sell well for you, good luck.

Hello I generally code all my own stuff but I really like what you have here. It is ALMOST what I need, would you consider realeasing a new version that accepts banner ads instead of just text ads? I am basicly in need of an ad system like facebook has. A user can create an ad how they want it to look, including adding picture to ad and then they can pay for the ad space and then they can view all the fancy charts and stuff like you have in your current script. I don’t think it would take too much work to modify this script to allow 1) images in the ads, 2)a payment system for paypal to sell adspace and allow the user to create what they want the ad to look like, 3)allow for more then 1 ad to show on a page at a time. Of course these are all just suggestions and are something I am in need of, appreciate your time.

I don’t think people understand how powerful this tool can be, plus you can track clicks ( Very Nice ) .. it’s nothing new, but you did bring a nice feature twist to the script. Which I don’t see anywhere else..

This also a great way to push products or anounce last minute sales.

I was wondering if you can add a CSS botton to the text link.? Or is there a way at all.

I really don’t care about the banner ad feature, since most banners get blocked anyway by ad blockers. The text is better anyway.. I support you on this sold..

It would be best if they weren’t able to. Perhaps if you have the files that load have the word “ad” in them, then this could be changed?

Not installing correctly for me! It doest seem to be acknowledging where I’ve placed the script www.mysite.com/Adverts for the install is returning 404 Page Not Found

Chmod 777 all 3 files the pdf says to

config.php install directory and index.php within the directory????

Ok, got it to work, changed where you said 777 to 755 and it fired right on up. ONLY thing i want to say now is, I created a web site and made two ads for it, how come it only displays 1 ad and I’ve been sitting here refreshing my page ctrl F5in for the last 30 minutes????

Great script. I purchased this script had it installed in less than 5 minutes even with being a script/coding dummy.
