Smooth Calendar

If we are in december 2010 i want that the agenda show the month december 2010 by default. Is it possible ?

A very nice file! Has anyone else had an instance of it not working in IE? Mine tests fine in Firefox and Chrome – but no events are showing for me in IE 8 . Any suggestions?

...and after further testing …no events are showing in Safari on Mac.

Hi there DenonStudio, very nice file, I’m just having one little problem! I have added links in the description box and when I open up the link in the box on the next year (2010) then click the ‘back’ button, I get taken back to the original (2009) page.

If I put target=”_blank” in the code to open in a fresh page, the validation fails.

I bought this calendar, and am exciting to use it. I’m not a programmer and the instructions on how to use this calendar are a bit confusing. Is there a simplified, step-by-step guide for dummies like me you can send me so I can start using the calendar? I’ve reviewed the PDF guide that came with the download, but it doesn’t explain the steps to take in order so people like me can use it easily.

Ideally I’d like to use it on my Wordpress site, but if that’s not possible yet, then I’ll just install it on a sub-domain and use it as in an i-frame on one of my Wordpress pages. Any help on dumbing this down for me would be awesome!

I am trying to set up the calendar on my Client’s Website… www.cecillesgardens.com. I got it to work except that it is not showing up on the index page. When I enter www.cecillesgardens.com/calendar.html it shows and works fine.

But, when I insert the codes into the index Sheet it does not work. I tried re-writing the index file around the calendar code e.g. www.cecillesgardens.com/calendar2.html and it dont sho either.

What Must I do to get it to show on my index page.

Hi DenonStudio, is there a possibility to change internationalization parameter such as month name, day name or first day of the week?

Great script and it worked great ‘out of the box’. I used MySQL to store events and then looped through them with PHP to generate a dynamic calendar.

One question: What is the easiest way to highlight today’s date on the calendar? I did not see anything in the CSS file for this. Without searching your code, is there a function that already exists. Sorry for my stupid if it exists already.

How easy is this to update? What format?
