SmartMail - Web Mail Client for your Smartphone

Hi,

I’ve developed smartmail cause my smartphone at that time was not really able to handle my Mailbox not well, caused by the amount of mails in it and caused by my connection (GPRS) or caused by Samsung S5230 ’s mailclient

With the help of smartmail I was able to handle all of my mails vie the smartphones browser without any problems

Recently I’ve got a Samsung Galaxy S and used smartmail as well, cause the integrated mailclient (Samsung) was’nt working that good. But now I’m using Android’s K-9 Mailer and don’t need to use Smartmail on Galaxy S any longer.

SHORT : Smartmail can be used if you have a lousy mailclient on your mobile device and/or your mobile connection isn’t that good

Smartmail only supports access to one emailbox at one time

you could use different devices or sessions to access more than one mailbox at the same time

are you able to login with your username and your password?

messages will be sent through the server where SmartMail is installed

With this entry:

The error is returned: Connection failed to pod51004.outlook.com,993: Connection timed out

did you run the servercheck.php successfully before purchasing SM?

what’s the failure message?

did you run the servercheck anytime successfully (i.e. before purchasing)?

maybe your webhoster doesn’t allow you to access Mailservers from your Webserver?

I’ve programmed such a Webmailclient more than 8 years ago – but today there’re a lot of really good and free Webmail-Clients out there (SquirrelMail, RoundCube) and I think there’s no need for a new one
