Simple photo gallery

Does this have a batch uploader? So I can select more than one file at a time to upload?

Is there a video or something to upload this script so it works. i can get into admin, galleries etc, but no images are showing mine or the ones it comes with. I have edited the size of the image insettings.php, to no avail, my image spots still are too small.

I have uploaded the script folder simplegallery, to public_html,(the folder itself with everything in it), changed the chmod of the whole uploads folder and everything in it. I have actually done everything both ways, but to no avail. Have not changed anything else.

Oh and i also added my own image file to the same place as the image files that come with this program. still no pictures showing, probably a path thing.

Can any of you nice guys give me a hand in integrating this script. I thought I had it right, but obviously not.

I’m not great at this stuff, thought it would be easier, but there is no how to’s about it, or a help desk that answers back.

OK, it’s all true the other are telling about this: The second gallery we’ve used this item completely disappeared. From one day to the other, “no Images in this gallery”. There is a heavy BUG in this code!!!!!!!!!!!!

Same thing has happened to me 3 or 4 times so I quit using it. I couldn’t remember where I had gotten the script, accidentally stumbled upon it here and now I know, I was looking for another gallery script but now am leery of buying anything here, the authors website for this script is down and I have a feeling I wasted my money.

ello, congratulations for the gallery, but I have a problem on some browsers in Windows 7 or other happens to me that the gallery images are not clickable and therefore I can not see the enlargement … there is a reason for all this? for all the rest works great even though it happened to me several times to find all the pictures deleted for no reason … thanks a lot!

Hi there. Great gallery. Thank you. I installed no problem, but for some reason it won’t let me into the admin area. I know the login credentials are correct. Any idea what the problem might be? any help would be greatly appreciated. The server has php5.2 Thank you!!!

The only thing I would like it to do is give me more Thumbs in a row. Right now I believe the default is 4. I would like 5 or 6 in a row. I can not figure out where you have this set.

I’m trying to make it so that when you upload new images into a gallery, the images get arranged in ascending order rather than descending order. Is this rather easy to do? Thanks again.

@all who asked for a method to sort their gallerielist on the frontend, you can accomplish this by using the php sort functions.

i had named my galleries after the year the included photos were taken, like 2007, 2008 .. 2010.

i wanted the gallerielist to show 2010 on top and the oldest one on the bottom, so after the foldernames get pulled into an array

you can sort the array as you like, just take a look at http://php.net/manual/en/array.sorting.php for the different methods.

hello, congratulations for the script, I have one problem, everything is working correctly, implementing the script on a site I do not see the thumb in the administrative panel, I see only the image name, and the move to see them correctly in the frontend, because ? I changed the name of the file index.tpl gallery.tpl and the file index.php i raname in gallery.php ( in the gallery not in the admin folder.) Where can I find the code to change the location of the thumb in the control panel do?

hi man, good app you got, i got some questions befofe purchase if you dont mind:

1) can i add (or rapidly implement) some alt text to the photos?

2) can i store the informatins from the photos on a database?

2) i need one more function when the photo is clicked (for example: instead change photo order, do something else), would be fast to impement it?

I just purchased and uploaded files to my server without touching anything. (tried on goDaddy & justHost servers) None of the images are loading, nor can I upload.

I am not seeing any of the images.

When I upload I can see that it made the thumb and large images and placed them in the uploads folder. Why can’t I see them on the site?

Permissions are set correctly

If someone is interested i change the upload system of this gallery. I used “plupload” (http://www.plupload.com), so you can select multiple files, drag and drop images from your file system to your browser, resize images before upload, etc… very useful!
