Thanks Mac. I was able to use this code and incorporate it into my site the way I wanted.

One more thing and I’ll stop bothering you. How can I remove line breaks from the output? If someone puts a few characters of text in a post then went to a new line and posted a few more than on to a new line… etc. How can I remove those blank spaces when outputting the data from the sql database? I have attempted using replace, str_replace CHR10 , CHR13 and everything else I can find, but nothing seems to remove the big gaps from the text output.

the XHTML -templates has no inline style definitions (two, one senseless float: right and one width for the dynamic voting bar)

the graphics of the XHTML -Templates are alpha transparent

the HTML4 -template is still the same, ‘cause I didn’t want to make it difficult for older users to update this template

just download the new version and check out the template folders or take a look at the demo sourcecode

to check out just the differences (of the template files) I suggest to use a tool like WinMerge

The only way to get error message is if you’re try to use one of the usernames of the Reserved usernames, not able to register (board administration)

The full error message (english) : The chosen nickname is reserved.

Could you send me the link to your installation?

Hi Miam,

there would be a solution [untested]:

• enable guests to view/create messages in the board administration
• open the templatefile add_topic.html (.php) and remove or edit the nickname line
• edit actions.php and replace

  $guest_name = preg_replace('([^a-zA-Z0-9\.\-_ ])', '', $guest_name);

  with

  $guest_name = $_SESSION[‘Security_ContactName’]

I think this would do the job

You are right! I had moved the <?php echo $sbb_add2head; ?> to the top of HEAD tags, because I did I little modification to show the ‘HTTP/1.1 404 Not Found’ header for non-exist forums, but I know realized it doesn’t matter the position while it is into the HEAD tags. Hi there’s no link to SBB V2 in the current version. If you buy SBB you could change/remove the footer line with the SBB V3 .01 part
