Rss to Twitter | Auto post recent items to twitter

Hi,

The script does not work. When I run the file cronJob.php, I have the following error message : Fatal error: Call to a member function get_title() on a non-object in /.../RssTweeter.class.php on line 66

I tried with different feeds but my page on Twitter is always empty.

Was hoping to purchase this but am a bit put off by the lack of response for the last couple of months. Previous users seem to be complaining that script isn’t working. Can you verify if this is the case, ronn0?

Just bought the script and yes i can confirm it works, no coding errors etc its important that you CHMOD the correct files and folders as mentioned in the readme file.

My question to the developer is, wouldn’t it be cool if like it post all the items in your xml feed, then after that only add the new stuff, for example my xml feed has the latest games on my site so it would be nice if it posted all the new stuff.

Let me know if this would be possible.

This does not currently work I have emailed the coder direct waiting for a response. The problem with it is how it makes the tiny URLS .

http://www.domain.com/http%3A//domain.com/page.html

As you can see from this URL it is created the tiny urls like this from the feed. Its adding a %3 in it.

The section that creates the tiny urls needs to be fixed. I am hoping the coder will come back with a response to address.

Is not working because of twitter’s new api?

Just bought this today and posts are not making their way to twitter. The cron appears to work properly, but posts do not show up on twitter.

Confirmed. Script doesn’t work. Due to Twitters API update with OAuth you can’t just simply pass your username and password anymore. You need to register for a Twitter API and use their calls to Authenticate your request.

i guess sales have crossed 40 , you should update plugin , also make it working with new twitter changes .
