Question before I buy;
Can this plugin be set to grab videos from multiple YouTube channels?
I need a plugin that will let me choose hundreds of specific YouTube channels to auto-post their videos into my Wordpress blog at a regular schedule. Can this do the trick?
thank you for your interest.
Yes, Video Publisher plugin lets you add multiple YouTube channels URLs to autopost videos from those channels at a specified schedule.
Let us know if you have any other questions.
within the same youtube channel I am pulling videos from some show up with featured images others are showing blank images through your plugin. If I go to youtube channel and pull image 0.jpg of the specific post its there but not in the post of your plugin. I have to manually add it using a featured image by url. Is there a way around this?
Hello, could you please give more information so we could check this properly? which channel are you using? which post came without an image? You could send the details through our profile page.
I got some questions before I buy the plugin.
1. Is it possible to post videos in from playlists too?
2. What does the “Template” thing mean, can I select one specific post layout for every auto-post?
3. Can I affect where the video should appear in the final post?
Thanks for your help.
Thank you for your interest.
2. Template lets you select whether to only post a video, or video with description / comments. You choose one template for all videos in a project.
3. No. You can only edit posts one by one if you want to add/edit those.
When adding projects, I can specify channels so video’s are only retrieved from that channel only. However this is not working properly the plugin just uses video’s from other channels. What am I doing wrong?
Thank you for contacting us.
We would need more information though. Please send us a message through our Profile page with the channel URL you used in the project, and if possible provide a screenshot of the project settings.
Is this plugin still supported and/or work with 4.0? It hasn’t been updated since Aug 2013 so I need to know before I buy, thanks.
There is an updated version of the plugin available, which works fine with WP4.0.
Just recently downloaded your plugin. I set it up tested it out and then went to catch up on some sleep. When I woke up in the morning I found my site was in fatal error mode with this error:
Fatal error: Call to undefined method Videopub::updateContentPrice() in /home4//public_html/othersites/**/wp-content/plugins/videopub/library/Plugin.php on line 215
I couldn’t find this variable called anywhere else in the php file nor in the other files within the library directory. I commented it out and things seem to be working. What triggers this I dont know. Any help?

Thank you for your interest.
The plugin is compatible with any template. So it should work fine with your template too.
Just recently downloaded your plugin(video publish).
I set up the project, and save it.
the videos appear the post, but project was not saved.
How can i solve it?
Please confirm you are using the latest version of the plugin (you could update directly from your WP dashboard). If the issue persists, please contact us through our Profile page with more information.
thank you for your answer.
>you could update directly from your WP dashboard
Yes, I’ll try that.
I have another question.
I have set the 5 project now.
sometime there are few same contents?same title ,same videos?,
is it possible to block the same video?
The script checks for duplicate content within one project in Video Publisher plugin. So if the content was posted from the same project, it should not have duplicate videos.
how can I solve that?
This could happen if there is no featured image provided by YouTube API.
I’m looking for WP video posts pluing which provides a shortcode so it’s not limited to a sidebar, ability to tag and categorize video posts and then display those video posts based on category and tags. Also does your plugin is able to create a video posts feed with embed videos, something like here: www.holyapostlesnyc.org (videos section).
The Video Publisher plugin creates WP posts with embedded videos. Those are displayed as regular posts (so it’s not a sidebar widget or something). You also have ability to categorize posts and tag them.
However, the plugin does not work with shortcodes, it’s all automated.
