Hey, I have just brought your class. And after I looked over your code I have some questions.

I noticed the ini file, and in there the pass is already hashed, that means that if I want to use your public function to change the pass, the changed pass won’t be hashed ? Or I’ll have to make a script that will hash my new pass ?

Also, what if I decide to use a database instead of the ini file, can I do that and how will that complicate things ?

Also, I will implement this in my site which uses ajax to load pages, so I wonder after I click the login can I do something to load the protected page with ajax ?

Thank you.

Hey again. I see that you’re not responding. Maybe you don’t have time for this, but when you do please take a few minutes to help me out with this.

I would like an answer to this questions :

1.”I noticed the ini file, and in there the pass is already hashed, that means that if I want to use your public function to change the pass, the changed pass won’t be hashed ? Or I’ll have to make a script that will hash my new pass ?”

2.”Also, what if I decide to use a database instead of the ini file, can I do that and how will that complicate things ?”

3.”I already implemented this script in my website. Now I need to ajaxify it. Well I kept trying a few things, but nothing seems to work, the page keeps refreshing. Could you show me an example how I can use your script with ajax ? Because for example I tried having a function in js that will shake the form if the fields are empty, but it seems like that function doesn’t run at all and it jumps to the login script execution … So please explain me how can I make this work … ?”

3.”Also, this script’s code for enabling it needs to be put in the top of the code because it starts a session, but the thing is I have only one header for all of the pages and since I place it there, the session starts when you enter the page, not when I click to login, and every time I refresh the site, regardless of the page I’m on it tells me if I’m sure I want to start a new session … Can something be done in this situation ?”

Sorry for the long comment, but I need to make this work. Thank you.

Phil, it’s because you change login.ini.php , into your own redicated page .
