Is there anyway to display the calendar in a yearly view showing all 12 months at one time instead of only 1 month at a time?

jigowatt

Hi, Not out of the box. But its should be relatively easy to create your own page with this.

Is it possible to setup a recurring event? For example, if I had an event every Wednesday with the same information, is it a possible to create this event only once?

jigowatt

Hi,

Sorry, that isn’t possible currently.

You will need to translate each text that you want translated.

error (Please enable php_gettext) how to fix this???

jigowatt

You need to get your host to enable it.

•Fully translatable to any language! Is there a Dutch version, or how do i translate the text in the popup?

Thanks

jigowatt

You need to first set the language in language.php, then you need to add the translation files in the folder languages.

Hello,

The host don’t want to enable the ‘gettext’. Any ideas?

Thanks

Move host? ;) Alternatively, you could recode the bits that use get text to use something else.

For some reason I cannot get Chrome, IE or Firefox to load the updated stylesheets. After I FTP them, I download them again to see if the changes are there. But when I refresh, the changes do not apply and the source code shows the old css. Is there something in the css or the code that would cause this?

(This is my second Jigowatt purchase. Ver happy)

jigowatt

Sounds like you browser have cached the old CSS files. Try clearing you browsers cache (should be in the settings somewhere). your host/server may also be caching these items too. Check that and clear if needed.

Cant install this because instructions page does not exist? this was the link thats not working: http://www.jigowatt.co.uk/themeforest/calendar/

jigowatt

Documentation link is in the items description. http://envato.jigowatt.co.uk/code/calendar/

Where is the link you have?

Recently purchased your script but the events are opening in a new page as opposed the the transperent pop-up type window as in the live demo. Any idea as to why this is happening please?

Got it to work I think the jquery.min.js needs to be included with the package or updated.

jigowatt

Heya,

I’ll add it to the development of the plugin so we can look at sorting that.

Thanks, Jigowatt.

Is there a way to set this the eastern time zone? Also to 12 hour format?

jigowatt

Would’nt it be you server/php settings that determine the time zone?

Hello, I am really liking what I am seeing with this. I was wondering if it is possible to display a list of the events under the calendar similar to how this one is shown: http://eventcalendarphp.com/demo_event_list.php

Please let me know. Many thanks!

jigowatt

Its not possible out of the box. You will need to add this functionality yourself.

Is the demo broken? When I click on a day on the calendar it just shows the same image and no details of the event? The admin doesn’t seem to work either with just a big date popping up when i log in?

jigowatt

Looking into it now.

Pop up window is not opening it opens on a new page see here http://mps-sa.co.za/calendar/events.php
jigowatt

Hey,

Currently the console in the inspect is showing an error with events.php, are all the files linked up correctly?

Do you have an up to date PHP version running on the server?

Thanks, Jigowatt.

Default-user

PHP is the latest all is linked 100% even if I run the file as I downloaded it I have the same problem.

jigowatt

TypeError: $(...).colorbox is not a function.

This is the error i get from the console. Have you made any changes to the script?

I’m trying to install this script.

Jigowatt need to update the Readme file in the download and the FAQ and the installation pages the code canyon website this as its just wasting people’s time! GRRRR. These links are broken i.e. http://www.jigowatt.co.uk/themeforest/calendar/

Moving on, I finally found the install instructions but all get is a white screen of death the error in the log PHP Parse error: syntax error, unexpected ‘gettext’ (T_STRING) in /var/www/html/calendar/admin/dbconn.php on line 22

Any help would be appreciated.

I got it working. I deleted the whole dbconn.php via nano and pasted again and it came right.

jigowatt

Heya,

Glad you got it working. We’ll have a look and see if we can get it sorted too stop this from happening again.

Thanks, Jigowatt.

Looks good. However I notice that when there is more than one event in a day, the modal popup window does not scroll. I am trying to view the site on an iPad os 8.

jigowatt

Heya,

Thanks for the feedback, we’ll take this on board for a future update.

Thanks, Jigowatt.

how i can change the days of the week to spanish? mon-> Lunes Tue-> Martes etc…

Thanks!

jigowatt

Heya,

Sorry for the delay in response time. Currently we don’t have .po or .mo translation files. Most of the ones we have are done by the community and then supplied too us due to the low level of requests and the cost of translators for the script unfortunately.

Thanks, Jigowatt.

Lightbox to see the details dont work! jquery?
