I didn’t read through the pages so apologies if this has been mentioned before.

It is a fantastic application. The only pity is that I could not substitute my flip book magazine file newsletters for the newsletters from your template.

I would love to be able to use my own links.

great job!!

If yes,

then is the read receipt dependent on opening the image, attached in the mail ??

If not please let me know about it.

Hello,

I’m having a problem with receiving my test emails. When I send one using “Preview” it works perfectly. When I send the real thing, it doesn’t arrive. When I go into Past Newsletters and take a look at it, it just shows up as white.

Now I set up the script on a different server and it worked perfectly. Is there a setting somewhere that I’m missing? Have you heard of this problem before? Any ideas you could give without sending me to file a support ticket, that would be great.

Thanks

I just setup newsletter and I am not sure what my username and password is. What information does it use for username and password on the first login?

I have three (3) questions about two other functions on your demo.

1) Whenever I go into the “Campaigns (BETA)” section and press the “Remove from Campaign” link, I get taken to a page that says, “Please go back and pick a campaign”. And when I go back the member is still there assigned to the campaign.

Why does this happen or what is the purpose of the “Remove from Campaign” link if it does not seemingly do anything? Or am I doing something wrong?

2) Whenever I go to “Dashboard” > “Pending Sends” and click the “Continue Send” link it just takes me to a page that says the date and time that the Newsletter is to be sent and nothing else.

Not certain what the purpose of this “Continue Send” link is for.

3) Is there a way to delete a newsletter that is in the “Dashboard” > “Pending Sends” section? There does not seem to be a way to delete a manually-scheduled pending newsletter that is at the bottom of the dashboard.

I thought there was something wrong with my install, but I found that this happens in your ONLINE DEMO too.

Look forward to your reply.

Just to be clear (haven’t read through all the forums yet)

1 Am I able to send XXnumber of newsletters per hour—For example 1-50 at 8am, 51-100 at 9pm etc?

2 Im using GoDaddy’s hosting for this account. Unfortunately the plan does not have cPanel and we are currently running mySQL version 5.0

Do I need to upgrade to 5.2 same as your Ultimate Client Manager? and

3 Is there anything we should know about cron jobs on GoDaddy Hosting?

Thanks for your prompt reply, Looking forward to getting this plugin.

PHP 5 .2 should be fine. You will need to ask godaddy how to setup cron jobs on your particular hosting account. You will need to ask godaddy how many emails you are allowed to send via a php script, and what connection details (SMTP) need to be entered into the script for your particular hosting account.

Best of luck,

It’s rare you find both so I just wanted to thank DT for everything.

The Gmail option given by Codecanyon works but gmail keeps bouncing most of my emails….

I tried to send a campain of 5000+ emails and only 13 delievered… the rest 5000+ bounced back…

It is a protection system by Gmail and my emails are identified as spam. Do you guys have any other option to make this work?

Ensure your SPF settings are correct (ie: you’re not trying to send from an @gmail.com account through godaddy servers, like a spammer would). Your hosting provider can help you setup SPF records correctly.

You can also ask your smtp provider (eg: godaddy or google) why the emails are getting bounced. You could also try using a different “sender” and “bounce” email address when sending your newsletter. Use an address that is linked with the hosting account you are sending mail from.

I bought Your fantastic application, I would like to use to newsletter campaings in the future.

I didn’t read through the whole pages so apologies if this has been mentioned before.

I made a test Yesterday. The test database contains 5,000 members, of which many bad e-mail address (for example john@hotmail.coommm, s%b()@gmail.com)

After sending out the letters I checked the stats.

2100 bounced mail recived to my bounce mailbox, it’s OK!

On the statistics page I see only 23 bounced messages. This 23 letter sent by autoreply.

Is it possible to generate a list of defective or non-existent email addresses? In my case I used 2100 wrong email address for test, and I dont’t know how can I generate a list about this wrong addresses. It’s important for me, becuse I would like to purge wrong address from my email databeses.

Another question about speed of email sending. I have got own server with 40Mbit/sec leased line for sending newsletter but the 5000 mail was delivered in half an hour. Can speed up this process?

When I send the newsletters, the admin page warns me not to quit until the letters will be sent. If I send newsletter with schedule (cron), need I logged in the Newsletter System?

Sorry for the poor english!

Thank you, Zoltán
