News Box is a small (3Kb uncompressed) and very easy to use html widget – a news ticker. Every News Box displays one item at a time. You can also put multiple News Boxes on a single website.
Now you can also easily add RSS or Atom feeds, using Google AJAX Feed API (so you don’t have to use any proxy server).
If you need more advanced behavior and interaction, you can plug in Smooth Scroll Manager (you should purchase it separately – it is not part of this package). It allows a user to easily scroll through the news. Without Smooth Scroll Manager, news items change automatically. You are not required to use Smooth Scroll Manager, since News Box works just fine without it.
