This is all I get

An Error Was Encountered Your site_config.php file does not appear to contain a valid configuration array.

You were not very clear on how to set this up if it is not in the root. For example what do I enter for the “base_url”? root or full path to folder? trailing slash? what do I enter for the “index_page”? just “index.php” or “folder/index.php”? beginning slash? Where does the .htacces file go? in the root or in the folder?

so many many questions with no answers :(
