Is it usable with HTML page ?
For the moment that’s not possible. But an easy work around for this is to change the extension of your static html pages to .php. Then you can just use this script like described in the documenation.
Can I add as many rss feed pages/lists as i want? That’s what I need in addition to regular pages. A news list, events list, an in stock wine list, beer list, and menu changes.
For the moment there’s only one RSS page possible. I’ll put it on the todo list rez.
Bookmarked!!!!!
Nice work.
So does this take content from your regular site or is this a mobile site template that you edit? Do you have a demo?
The only content that is used from the original site is the RSS feed. for the contact form you can choose a destination email address. The extra pages are HTML templates that you can give whatever content you like.
For the demo you can look at this: http://sitebase.be/?mobile=true
Make sure you view this with safari to get the same result as on the iphone.
I’ve installed this, configured per instructions, and when I go the my home page on my iPhone all I get is a blank page. Checked the paths, everything.
Took it down and put it up as it came without configuration and still just a blank white page on the iPhone.
Any help would be appreciated.
Is your website on a normal browser still working? Try to add this PHP in top of your index.php file to view all errors: error_reporting(E_ALL);
Can you send me the errors that are shown?
To force the mobile version on a normal browser you can add ?mobile=true to your url. This way you can copy the errors that are shown.
does this was made with this service ?
http://jqtouch.com/
just want to know
also can THIS be work with any website ? in example wordpress … and what about you told someone in comments here that we need that the page will end with .php or somethin ?
please explain IT
TNX
No, it’s all custom coded. The php extension is needed because you need to include(php) a file in top of the index file. This is not possible if the file has an html extension. But normally this should not be a problem.
Hi,
can I use it on an asp.net site? If not, is there a plan to create this application anytime soon?
Thanks, A
Sorry alona, it doesn’t work with asp and for the moment there are no plans to make this.
this script have feed content pagination ?
For the moment not, but I add this to my todo list.
Hi,
I found one problem in the button (contact form). The letters are missing and the button is thinner. Check that in one real iphone, not the simulator
Cheers
The simulation is just an example and it’s normal that it is not 100% the same as on the iPhone itself.
Any idea if this will work for sites using phpbb3? can supply a test url nevermind, i think i misunderstood what the script is for
With php you can use an RSS feed to show the last topics on the forum. But the user won’t be able to add comments to the topics.
does it works with WP ?
Yes
is the php uncoded so we can make changes?
Yes
Sitebase: Purchased !
Thanks Svipic
Bonjour Sitebase,
When do you anticipate completing the compatibility with other mobile phones? Also, are you available for a contract for same type of applications using PHP , but very simple?
One of the following weeks there should be version with PDA support. Yes, I’m available for custom work. You can contact me from my profile page or from the contact page on http://www.sitebase.be.
Well, I see that you have 49 sale on this one… So I decide to make it 50! LOL
Thanks xemmex
.
My website is made from www.socialengine.net script. will it work with this script?
That should be no problem.
I had the same idea, nice! Now I can throw it away
Very nice…. Please consider adding WURFL . WURFL stands for Wireless Universal Resource FiLe. It is part of a FOSS (which stands for Free and Open Source Software) community effort focused on the problem of presenting content on the wide variety of wireless devices. The WURFL itself is an XML configuration file which contains information about device capabilities and features for a variety of mobile
Hi, thanxs for great code. Can you implement Google Analytics on the mobile pages?
You can download the new version with Google analytics support.
