Hello
Is there a way to change the time from 12 hour format to 24 hour format. Excellent script btw
Am i correct in thinking that to change the color on the calendar, I would need to edit the css? the site i’m using this for needs a different color than gray.
Thanks,
Hi MiniatureCookie,
Great job !
There’s a problem, I am dynamically appending events in it through ajax. But, for some reason, it doesn’t show events in calender for firefox – 3.6.23, and neither in chrome. But shows in IE8 .Do you know what can be the reason for this.
Also
tag, I am adding an anchor tag in it.So it looks something like this.
Now the search functionality wont work. Is there a way around for it.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks.
We’ve just bought the script very good! Just to know is there a way that i can create different event types meaning using a different color for examples like holidays like easter X-mass etc ….
I think you have the best calendar on the web. I purchased it, however I was wondering if you have sample where the entire calendar is much smaller… so I can build a yearly calendar view as well. I tried messing with the CSS , but there is soo much to change… I got lost. Let me know if you can help me out.
Three questions 1. I would like a smaller calendar as well, something like 300×300 or smaller even.
2. Is there a way to make a mouseover event instead of the popup?
3. If I have an event that spans multiple days, is there a way to put that in ONE event instead of creating duplicates across the days?
Thanks, love this calendar!
Oh, and 4. Can we configure the calendar to start on Sunday instead of Monday?
On a good note, I solved my own issue regarding the smaller calendar. The biggest issue was figuring out where CSS classes corresponded. I couldn’t just divide in half because browsers round off decimals in pixels. It had to work out mathematically. Anyway, I tested it in IE, FF and Chrome. See here: www.krwa.net
CF_Pro, I’d give you the mods I made if you want… I commented in the CSS very heavily so it’s easy to see where things go.
I’m working next on the small version having mouseover instead of onClick popup. I tied this to a database using .asp, so both my big calendar and small calendar can read the same events, only the big one display full info and the small one only mouseover.
By the way, I HATE the blue gradient and colors in this example, but my client loves them.

Hi. Magic Calendar seems to have a bug that we are unable to solve: especifically on the month of January 2012, the days of the week are not correct. For example, in Magic Calender, Jan 1st is on a Tuesday, but it should actually be on Sunday. For all other months, it appears to be correct.
Any ideas?
Can you change the size of the pop up event viewer? Can you let me know asap .. Thanks
I see this question above and it says Solved but I don’t see the answer.
The one about not seeing the Events until you search for something….
Thanks
atitude, I can’t see how to reply to you directly. Anyway, I changed the size of the popup viewer by changing the image and the css. If you want a copy of what I did, email me jen@jensharp.com
And you can see it here: skydivekansas.com/schedule
I just purchased the calendar last night, but I cannot seem to get it installed correctly. I have used a folder called ‘MagiCalendar’... I loaded all the files in that folder.. but when I view it in a browser, it just shows the text.
I have not uploaded to server yet, I’m just putting the files together in the program I’m using (WebPlus X5).
If anyone else has a suggestion I would appreciate the assistance My email is gmjhunter@yahoo.com.
Has anyone received a response when sending an email to this person. I’ve tried a number of times but haven’t seem to get any response. I just having trouble getting the file structure correctly.
I see a bug I have no idea how to fix… The current month is May 2012 and the dates (May 1, May 2 etc) are falling on the right days of the week… May 6 = Sunday; However if I go back a month to April 2012, the dates are NOT falling on the right day of the week… April 23, 2012 should fall on a Monday, but your calendar shows it on a Friday
You can go farther back in time, same issue: Jan 1, 2012 fell on a Sunday and your calendar shows it fell on a Thursday
This is true in your Live Preview, plus other people’s example calendars in this post… Anyone else see this or have a fix?
Is there a way to start the calendar with Sunday instead of Monday?
Thx.
Having a problem in that the .header in the css clashes with the .header is my main css and throwing the whole page? Any ideas on how to fix this? Also the same with .searchHolder is throwing other formatting?
When I comment out these two lines of css the page returns to normal but then the calendar doesn’t work!
Any help would be appreciated!
